Day 1. Welcome to Rome!
Arrive in Rome and collect your rental car. Once you get settled, activate your hop-on/hop-off bus pass and start exploring Rome!
Visit the Colosseum, the Roman Forum and the Pantheon. You'll be able to stop by the iconic Trevi Fountain to throw a coin in and make a wish!

Rome City Sightseeing Hop-On/Hop-Off Bus Pass (24 hours)

Day 2. Rome
Continue using your bus pass today and see anything you may have missed. You could also spend some time in Vatican City. You can see one of Michelangelo's most famous works - the Sistine Chapel ceiling at the Vatican Museums.
Day 3. Rome - Tuscany
Today you will take off to your next stop; Tuscany! You will be in the heart of the Tuscan countryside within a short driving distance from Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Certaldo, Pisa, Lucca and Arezzo.
Fattoria degli Usignoli is surrounded by large olive groves in a resplendent, heart-warming natural setting. Day 4. Tuscany

While in Florence, another must-see site is the Duomo, which is a cathedral that took nearly 150 years to complete. You will also want to visit the Uffizi Gallery for some Italian artwork and the Basilica di Santa Croce.

Wine Tasting at Castello di Meleto
Experience an authentic tasting of Chianti wines at the enchanting Castello di Meleto, which dates back to the 13th century. Within the original, vast old cellar of the castle at the end of a stone path hollowed through stone and past an original “secret passageway” is the large tasting room, where you'll enjoy a flight of 3 wines produced onsite.
Taste such acclaimed wines as the Meleto Chianti Classico Docg, Vigna Casi Chianti Classico Docg Riserva and Borgaio IGT Toscana Rosso - accompanied by crackers, bread and the organic extra virgin olive oil produced at the Castle.
Day 5. Tuscany
You can't visit Tuscany without seeing the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa! Take several photos holding up the 14th-century tower, then check out Piazza dei Miracoli, home to the Pisa Baptistery and Pisa Cathedral.
After spending a few hours in Pisa, drive to Lucca, known for its well-preserved Renaissance walls that circle the historic city. See the Roman Amphitheater, Piazza dell'Anfiteatro, Lucca Cathedral and Guinigi Tower. Cap off a successful day with your wine tasting.
Fattoria San Michele a Torri Wine Tasting
Set amongst vineyard and olive groves, the agricultural estate of Fattoria San Michele a Torri Srl is a gem of the "Chianti" wine producing area. The trhion covers an area of 500 acres of land, of which approximately 125 acres are occupied by vineyards, and 75 by olive groves.
This is a habitat particularly suited to winemaking, which produces smooth, perfumed wines of great character. The area produces red and white wines, Vinsanto, and Olive Oil.
During your visit to the vineyard, you will have the opportunity to see both the new and old wine cellars. See the olive oil producing room “orciaia” with an explanation of how the olive oil is made. You will also enjoy a tasting which will include: 2 red Chianti wines, a dessert wine, Salami of Cinta Senese Dop, and Bruschetta with extra virgin Olive Oil “Laudemio”.
Day 6. Tuscany
The medieval city of Siena is well worth a visit. Spend the morning and early afternoon walking through Piazza del Campo, gazing up at Siena Cathedral and getting lost in its narrow and winding cobblestone streets.

Day 7. Tuscany - Venice
Depart Tuscany today and drive to Venice where you will spend the final two nights of your vacation at the Villa Park Hotel Bolognese. You'll have about a three-hour drive so you might want to leave in the early afternoon so that you have time to do some sightseeing when you arrive.
