Madrid tends to be quiet in November, before the bustle of the holiday season. But there’s still a lot to see and do without the usual crowds. For example, you can attend one of the finest art shows in the world, The Feriarte. You'll find heart-pounding excitement at a horse race, or you can dance the night away at a flamenco show. 1. Madrid International Jazz Festival

With roughly 100 concerts to choose from, there’s no shortage of ways to jazz up your Madrid trip! November 13-December 1, check out this popular music festival. Events are held city-wide, but most take place at Conde Duque Cultural Centre and the Fernán Gómez Theatre.
