Art, culture, history, and fun - London has it all! Board a flight across the pond this year to attend fun events and learn about the culture! Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in Trafalgar Square, then head to a Vegan Food Festival for a bite to eat. Below are ten ways to experience every part of London this March.
1. Eat and Drink Festival
Head to the Eat and Drink Festival to master your cooking skills and learn new ones! Watch live demonstrations from popular chefs and learn about wine from drink experts. Then try some delectable street food from one of the 20+ vendors! Check it out from **March 27 - April 13 2020.
2. St. Patrick’s Day
March 17, celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in London! This free event takes place each year in Trafalgar Square between 12 PM and 6 PM. Shop through vendors selling crafts and food, or bring the kids to children’s workshops and activities. Then dance along to live music from popular Irish musicians!
3. Tate Modern Tanks
Don’t miss one of London’s best art museums - the Tate Modern. For the fourth year, this exhibition will showcase exciting installations and artworks. There will be live performances and interactive works March 20 - 29.
4. Royal Orchestra Beethoven Performance
Hear the lovely sounds of the Royal Orchestra! You can listen to a performance of Beethoven on ** March 1, 3, 6, 9, 13 and 17.** Take in this lovely opera for an unforgettable evening.
5. Vegan Life Live
March 14-15, taste the best vegan food from all over London. Try vegan pizza, ice cream, curry, and soul food! There will be clothing, shoes, food, jewelry, and much more. Kids under 16 can enter for free when accompanied by a parent.
6. The London Festival of Railway Modeling
March 21-22, train enthusiasts will flock to this show! See over 40 model railway layouts and wander through the 120 shops at the event. Then shop through thousands of model train products!
7. Tower Bridge
Walk inside Tower Bridge to discover a world of English history! Learn the stories of the manpower that created the architecture. Wander through the Victorian Engine Rooms and glass floors. See this London stape through March.
8. Gin on the River
Unwind with this relaxing 3-hour cruise around East London. The cruise on March 28 passes the Olympic Stadium. Taste-test four types of gin to find your new favorite, and keep your drinking glass as a souvenir!

9. The London Dungeon
Immerse yourself in London’s grisly history scene at the London Dungeon experience! Learn about famous bad guys and deadly events that made London what it is today. You’ll get to test the UK’s first 5D laser ride! Book tickets through March 31.
10. London Shag Festival
March 20-22, dance til you drop at the London Shag Festival! International teachers will show you how to improve your dancing. DJs will be playing music live! Head to one of ten classes ranging from beginner to expert.
