Killarney, Ireland, is a fun place to visit year-round. But especially in November, there is so much to explore! Get to know the community by grabbing a pint at a Dart Competition, or going to a Halloween dinner and scary movie night. There are trails to hike and shops to explore. Discover why November is an excellent time to visit Killarney.
1. Halloween Cine Dine
Enjoy a creepy night out with Halloween Cine Dine! Watch “The Sixth Sense” on November 2. Enjoy drinks and a delicious two-course dinner. Then head to the cinema room to watch the movie and have dessert.
2. Hiking through Killarney
This November, explore the natural beauty of Killarney. The 5.5-mile walk takes about four hours over mountain trails. Trails go by Tooreencormick Battlefield, Devil’s Punchbowl, and Horses Glen.
3. LugMOquilla Challenge
November 23, join the eighth annual LugMOquilla Challenge! Each year, hikers raise money for prostate cancer prevention and other health issues. For the hike this year, the group will be scaling Carrauntoohill. It’s Ireland’s highest peak!
4. Baby Market
Look no further for all the baby goods you could want. At the Baby Market on November 10, browse goods for newborns, kids, and maternity. There are over twenty vendors selling local accessories, clothing, toys, and more.
5. INDO Killarney Darts Festival
Come throw darts and have a few pints at the Gleneagle Hotel. November 8-10, watch some of the best darts players in Ireland compete for the grand prize - over $30,000! Play solo or join a darts team. Whether you play or just watch the competition, you’re sure to have a great time.
6. White Tailed Eagle Project at Killarney National Park
Ireland has crisp weather that’s perfect for hiking in November. You can catch sight of a White Tailed Eagle on the trails in Killarney National Park. They are mainly spotted near Lough Leane or Innisfallen island, the latter of which you can reach by boat.
7. Run in the Dark Kenmare
Take a brief drive to Kenmare to experience a run in the dark! You’ll wear a flashing red armband as you compete in a 5k or 10k. November 13, join runners all over the world as you conquer the night.

8. Flesk Valley RC Race Night
November 8, visit the Flesk Valley RC Race Night. You can learn all about racehorses and jockeys! There will be prizes and fun for the whole family.
9. The Cork SelfBuild Show
For DIY enthusiasts, this show is a dream come true. There are over 110 vendors at this fair to inspire home renovation projects. It takes place in nearby Cork from November 9-10.
10. Killarney Park Run
Go for a family run Saturdays in November at Killarney House! Meet at 9:30 and go for a free 5k run through the beautiful National Park. Children are welcome to run the three lap race.
