Madrid Spain is a hub of culture, food, and fun! Travel there in March to find music festivals, food markets, and historic buildings. Madrid celebrates World Theatre Day and has lots of art and history just waiting to be explored!
1. World Theatre Day
World Theatre Day is a widely celebrated event! Hundreds of performances take place each year. You can see dancing, dramatic plays, and live concerts! Shows take place all around the city beginning in the afternoon and lasting late into the night on March 27.

2. Arco Madrid
February 26 - March 1, head to Madrid’s International Contemporary Art Fair! Meet art collectors and artists from all over the world! Wander through the fair and take a guided tour during the weekend.
3. Don’t Let Daddy Know Electronic Festival
Hit the dance floor at this fun electronic music festival! On March 14, head to Avenue del Partenón for the show.
4. Motorama Madrid
Come to one of the biggest bike shows in Spain! Motorama has everything for car-lovers. Find accessories, spare parts, customized apparel, and much more! Stop by March 6-8.
5. El Rastro Market
Head to this market with over 3,500 vendors! El Rastro is one of the most famous markets in Spain. It operates on holidays and on Sundays through March.
March 13-14, discover great new indie music! There will be five bands playing live music. Head to Galileo Galilei music hall to enjoy the music with the local community.
7. Iboga Winter Festival
March 5-7, stop by Iboga Winter Festival! You can dance to great punk music at this live concert.
March 19-22, attend Europe’s leading fishing and hunting show! Over 40,000 people attend each year to peruse fishing and hunting gear! See a falconry demonstration, bow and arrow demonstration, and much more.
9. Visit the Royal Palace
Set your sights on Madrid’s Royal Palace! Inside the Palace, you’ll discover fancy tapestries, silverware, watches, and more! Visit this must-see location through March.
