This December, plan a visit to Vienna! There are so many fun holiday activities to try. For example, you can explore one of the many Christmas Festivals which take place throughout Vienna. There are also lovely musical events taking place at historic local churches. There is so much holiday wonder to discover in Vienna!
1. Christmas Street Food Festival Vienna
December 14-15, come to this Austrian street food fair! The festival offers all you can drink punsch, a sweet and spicy liquor.

2. Amazing Vienna International Dance Festival
This dance festival welcomes dancers from around the world! The event welcomes dancers of all ages and skill levels. Many styles of dance will be performed, from the tango to ballroom dancing, from December 13-15.

3. The Spittleberg Market
November 14–December 23, wind through The Spittleberg Market. This market is known for having tons of fashion and tons of amazing local food! This cozy market is located near great bars, craft shops, and art galleries.

4. Vegan Planet
November 30-December 1, discover new vegan products! This fun and informative markets sell vegan cosmetics and clothing. You can also learn about the effects of veganism on animals and the environment.

December 7, get a ticket to Anchorfest! You can rock out to bands ranked in Europe’s Top 25 Emerging Bands. Four bands will be playing rock music, beginning at 7 PM.

6. Grand Christmas Gala
Come to the Ritz-Carlon Vienna for live Christmas music! This gorgeous annual gala takes place in the hotel’s crystal ballroom on December 14. Food will be served, but if you come later in the night, don’t worry - the gala goes until 2 AM.
November 30-December 1, stop by this cool street market. The vendors sell collectibles, antiques, vintage clothes, and other used goods.
This is one of the most famous Christmas Markets in Vienna, both for its large size and prime sight-seeing location. Christkindlmarkt is set in front of Rathaus City Hall from November 11-December 26.
9. Christmas in Vienna Gala
Christmas in Vienna has been a holiday staple in Austria for more than 25 years. On December 21, stroll to Vienna Konzerthaus, a popular concert venue built in 1913. You can expect classical music with traditional tunes as well as contemporary Christmas songs.
10. Stephansplatz Christmas Market
Don’t miss this gorgeous Christmas celebration November 15–December 26. Located near the Stephansdom cathedral, which is decorated for the holidays, this market sells everything. Take a picture in front of the Christmas tree, and shop through some of the 40 vendors selling goods.
