1. Christmas Tree at Trafalgar Square
This amazing 82-foot tree is a holiday season must-see. Carolers perform around the tree most afternoons. Through December, there are various events to celebrate the season, such as the blessing of the crib ceremony, which has a torchlit procession.
2. The Peter Pan Cup in Hyde Park
This December 25, members of the Serpentine Swimming club swim an icy race. The Peter Pan Cup plunge begins at 9 AM, when the water is usually below 40°F. Spectators are advised to dress warmly!

November 30-December 24, celebrate Christmas with London’s furry friends. There are holiday movie screenings, themed talks, and even a chance to meet Santa.
4. English National Ballet: Nutcracker at London Coliseum
Come see this traditional English ballet feature at the world-famous London Coliseum. From December 11-January 5, the National Ballet performs the Nutcracker. Get lost in the Tchaikovsky score and more than 100 talented dancers.
5. Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park 10k Race
This race winds through some of London’s most beautiful sights. Race entry is about $23, so don’t miss out on this memorable way to see Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Meet at the park on December 7 to race or cheer on the runners.
