1. Mangalica Festival
February 7- 9, come to this excellent free festival! Mangalica Festival specializes in sausages and Mangalica meat. Sip some Pálinka, or warm up with a craft beer. And check out the craft fair or animal exhibit where you can see Mangalica pigs!
2. Valentines Day Budapest
Take a romantic river tour this Valentine’s Day! Dine on a four-course meal while you enjoy the sounds of the Hungarian Folk Orchestra. Sail the Danube in style for this unforgettable river tour on February 14.

3. Budapest Boat Show
Boating enthusiasts will love the Budapest Boat Show, which takes place from February 27- March 1. Visitors can see over 100 boats and learn about watersports. There will be merchandise for sale as well, including boating accessories and scuba gear.

4. Wild East Fest
February 7-9, dance til you drop at this catalan-style dance festival. There are two floors where you can join in a dance marathon, a line dance contest, and six workshops. People from all over the globe attend Wild East Fest to learn a new skill and dance to great music!
5. Thermal Bathing at Szechenyi Spa
Head to the Szechenyi Spa Bath to warm up with a soak in a natural hot spring! Even in the coldest weather, the mineral pools stay warm, making it a unique bathing experience. Take a dip in the pools through February - even when it's snowing, you'll stay!
6. Skate at Városliget Ice Rink
If you’re looking for a memorable ice skating experience, discover Városliget Ice Rink. It’s located in the beautiful City Park, overlooking the park’s lake. This enormous open-air rink is open through February.
7. Buda Castle
Buda Castle is one of Budapest’s architectural marvels. Through February, you can wander through the castle and its courtyards. Strolling around the castle grounds is free, and guided tours of the castle are offered as well.
8. Bike Expo
Biking is becoming more and more popular in Budapest! The third annual expo, from February 27 - March 1, will feature innovative new bikes and bikes for sale. There will be a race, product demonstrations, sweepstakes, and much more!
9. Budapest Dance Festival
Budapest celebrates dancing in February with dance events all over the city. From ballet to Hungarian dance styles to folk dance, there are many shows hosted city-wide. February 27-March 11, stop into the National Dance Theater Great Hall or MÜPA - Festival Theater for a show.
