1.Sónar Athens Electronic Music Festival
October 11-12, let the bass drop at one of Greece’s celebrated electronic music festivals. The event takes place at three different venues around the city.

October 5 celebrate the sounds of Halloween with metal/doom bands. Greek bands such as Inner Missing and Selefice are playing the event.

5. Six d.o.g.s. Athens Spooktacular Halloween Night

8. "Oedipus Rex" at Athinais Theatre Athens
Experience an ancient Athenian story come to life. Every Thursday in October, take a trip to ancient Greece with this famous tragedy. Considered the most impactful work of Greek theater, Oedipus Rex was first performed in 429 BC.

9. Museum of Cycladic Art
Picasso and Antiquity! This extraordinary exhibit features sixty-eight rare ceramics and drawings by Pablo Picasso. The works feature sea creatures, mythological beasts, and many are inspired by ancient dramas and comedies. The show will be running through October 20.

10. Explore Athens by Electric Bicycle
