Cape Town, South Africa is a gorgeous vacation spot. If you’re lucky enough to visit Africa, know that there is so much to do! There are festivals for beer, gin, tequila, and wine. If you’re in a dancing mood, go to the world-famous Eden Festival. No matter which time of November you’re visiting Cape Town, you’ll find plenty to keep you busy.
1. The Gin to my Tonic Show
November 29-December 1, try the best gin and tonic in South Africa! You can meet enthusiasts, gin makers, and bartenders who perform theatrical tricks. There is a large distillery, tastings, and a gin and cocktail bar.
2. Cape Town Tequila Festival
November 1-3, sample the finest tequila made in South Africa and around the world. The first annual festival lets its 12,000 attendees celebrate with food, drinks, music, dancing, and masterclasses. General admission includes a glass and eight tequila tasting vouchers.
3. Festival of Rebels
Check out this unique bike festival. To those who love motorcycles, it’s “a celebration of all things powered by a piston.” November 30-December 1, learn about motorcycles and enjoy live entertainment by over 40 of South Africa’s most beloved bands. There will be two DJ stages and 150 food and auto vendors.
4. Endless Daze Festival
This beautiful festival is a must-see if you’re in Cape Town from November 1-3. Mere feet from the sea, this festival lets you camp close to the water while you enjoy the music. It’s only about 45 minutes from Cape Town, and you can catch international performers and local celebs.
5. Cape Town Festival of Beer
November 29, choose from over 200 types of beer at the 10th annual Cape Town Festival of Beer. This year ciders will be introduced to the fest as well! Over 60 breweries bring their best craft beers. You can learn about beer and food pairings, go to tastings, and enjoy live music and rugby games.
6. Wine Wednesdays at the Orange Hotel
Wednesdays in November, go to Wine Wednesdays at the Orange Hotel. Your first glass of wine is free. You’ll get to have a Q&A with an expert from a nearby wine farm. Wine nights begin at 6 pm, which is perfect to enjoy the Hotel’s tapas menu or dinner.
7. The Eden Experience
This is one of the most well-known music festivals in South Africa. November 16, dance to the best electronic and house music. This event is carefully curated to make sure you have a great time from start to finish. Festivities take place at the Zevenwacht Wine Estate.
8. Unmute ArtsAbility Festival 2019
November 27-December 3, witness a show that celebrates work by artists of mixed abilities. The fifth annual show will focus on inclusion in art forms such as dance, theatre, music, film, and visual arts. African artists will be performing in venues around Cape Town.

9. Green & Vegan Pop Up Dining
16th November 2019, try the best vegan cuisine South Africa has to offer! You don’t have to be vegan or vegetarian to attend the event - the popup has sumptuous dishes for all those who want to eat a plant-based meal. Get a free drink upon arrival. You’ll love this multi-course meal.
10. 1st Class Grand White Picnic
November 30, spend a day having a fun picnic. You’ll recieve a bottle of wine as you enter the festival! Wear white and enjoy the speeches, ceremonies, DJs, and bands performing at the picnic.
