The trip went well, once we got going. The process to purchase the trip was not the best. They changed our flights by an entire day, which would have left us in the airport over 24 hours. We ended up paying more to switch airlines to get back to our original date without adding 4 more hours to a 24 hour schedule. I spent a lot of time picking flights to minimize our travel and have enough time for connections. It was a fight to get it fixed. Not sure I want to do that again. We have used GV several times in the past and never had this issue. They also changed my daughters BDate for no apparent reason. Luckily, I caught it and they fixed it. We tried to add another person (6 months in advance) and were told there were no more openings on the trip. Several phone calls later, they booked the xtra person and told her she would be on the same itinerary as us. When she got her details 3 days before we left, it was not even close to the same. The locations were the same, but on different days. She ended up paying $600 more to get it fixed the day before we left. The itinerary, once we got to our destination, was good. The bus was 1/2 full, so not sure why they told us there were no more opening for our additional person. The outings were good, the rooms were nice. The food, however, was not very good. We ended up opting for McDonalds one night because we didn't want to eat at the hotel again. Our tour guide was great! He definitely made the trip worthwhile.
