Day 1. Welcome to Lima!
Welcome to Peru! Transfer to your hotel and get settled before enjoying dinner locally. Rest up - you have a lot of exploring to do!

Day 2. Lima
After breakfast, embark on a classic city tour with a gastronomic twist!
Start the tour with a visit to a local market and walk through the colorful stands, admiring a wide variety of national products and tasting exotic fruits. Continue on to the Gastronomy Museum, to learn the impact Peruvian cuisine is having across the globe. To finalize the tour, head to a local restaurant for a demonstration of how to prepare the famous cocktail, “Pisco Sour” and the national dish, “Ceviche”. Continue to awaken your taste buds as you enjoy a lunch with signature Peruvian dishes. After your meal, you will be brought back to your hotel.
Gastronomy Tour with lunch in Lima
Peruvian cuisine is currently enjoying a period of international recognition, having been named as the ‘gastronomic capital of the world’ across numerous publications and travel networks, making this tour all the more alluring. On arrival at the restaurant, you will be shown the secrets to preparing some of Peru’s classic dishes with a modern twist, such as ceviche and pisco sours, before indulging in a delectable gourmet lunch, while overlooking the Pacific Ocean. This experience includes a trip to one of the many local produce markets to see first-hand the array of ingredients which go into such fine dining, before being awarded with your very own chef’s apron, to keep as a souvenir in your own kitchen back home!
Day 3. Lima
Enjoy your exciting Colonial & Contemporary City Tour with Barranco, Larco Museum and Lunch today! Start off by exploring the capital's bohemian area of Barranco, admiring its charming architecture and lush parks. Marvel at the ancient Bridge of Sighs and then walk around the “Plaza San Martín” and the main square, “Plaza de Armas”, where you can also see the Government Palace, the Cathedral and the fascinating San Francisco Monastery. End your tour at the renowned Larco Museum and then enjoy delicious local cuisine in the Café Del Museo before being brought back to your hotel.
Colonial & Contemporary Lima City Tour, including Larco Museum, with lunch (6 hours)
In the historical center, admire the colorful colonial architecture around the “Plaza San Martín” and the main square “Plaza de Armas”, where you can also see the Government Palace, the Cathedral, and the Municipality. Head to Lima’s contemporary districts, Miraflores and San Isidro, that combine beautiful parks, such as “El Olivar” and “Parque del Amor”, shopping centers, and modern architecture. End your tour at the Larco Museum and appreciate over 45.000 objects including pre-Columbian ceramics, textiles, gold and silver pieces. Don’t miss the museum’s famous and unique erotic ceramics collection from the Mochica culture.

Day 4. Lima - Cusco
After breakfast, enjoy a private transfer to the airport. Once you've landed in Cusco, you'll be transferred to your next hotel for check-in. Spend the rest of the day at leisure in this fascinating city in the midst of the Andes Mountains, known as the heartland of the Incan Empire.

Day 5. Cusco
Today you'll get to experience the highlights of Machu Picchu with an included tour.
You'll be picked up at your hotel this morning and taken to Ollantaytambo station, where you'll board a panoramic train that provides stunning views of the Andean Mountains as you pass through the Sacred Valley. Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes you'll take a shuttle to the ancient citadel of Machu Picchu, and during your tour will learn about the Inca civilization, the site's discovery, and the different theories on this mysterious and spectacular archaeological marvel. At the end of the day you'll return to Aguas Calientes to board the train to Ollantaytambo, and will be transferred back to your hotel in Cusco.
Full-day tour of Machu Picchu with round-trip transportation from Cusco
Visit the Santuario Histórico de Machu Picchu (Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu). Aboard a comfortable train, you will depart for the Aguas Calientes train Station, enjoying a spectacular view along the way. Upon arrival, you will board a bus that will take you to the entrance gate of the Machu Picchu citadel.
Rediscovered by Hiram Bingham more than a century ago, Machu Picchu is considered one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Its architectural beauty, spectacular natural landscapes, and the energy held in its enigmatic structures will take your breath away.
Day 6. Depart Peru
Your Peruvian adventure comes to an end today. At the appropriate time, you'll be transferred to the Cusco airport for your flight home.
