Day 1. Welcome to Sydney!
Touch down in the city and make your way to your first accommodation. Once you drop your luggage, head out and explore Sydney! You've got tons of sightseeing to do!Â

Centrally located in the heart of Darling Harbour, ibis Sydney Darling Harbour is one of Sydney's most popular hotels. Surrounded by an array of tourist attractions, restaurants and bars, ibis is renowned for its quality, simplicity and value for money with many rooms boasting spectacular views of Darling Harbour.
Day 2. Sydney
Rise and shine! Wake up recharged and ready to take on the town. Today, you may want to see Sydney's classics: the Opera House, the Harbour Bridge, and the Royal Botanic Gardens.Â
In the afternoon, take a stroll through The Rocks, the first European settlement in Australia. This area is now a historic hub of heritage buildings! Walk through The Rocks' cobbled streets lined with shops and restaurants. Why not treat yourself to a delicious dinner?
Day 3. Sydney
Craving some sun, sand, and surf? Make today beach day!
Of course, you'll want to check out Sydney's famous surfers' paradise: Bondi Beach. After Bondi, you may want to cool down with a scenic stroll along the Coogee Coastal Walk. Pass by rock pools, bright blue bays, and impressive cliffs!Â

Day 4. Sydney
Let out your wild side! You may want to visit Sydney's famous Taronga Zoo! Just a quick ferry ride across the harbor from the CBD, this exotic wonderland is home to over 4,000 animals, including local kangaroos and koalas.Â
No matter what you decide to do today, be sure to take advantage of Sydney's renowned food, wine, and coffee culture! Visit local hot spots and try traditional favorites.Â
Day 5. Sydney - Cairns
Say "see ya" to Sydney. Today, you're off to colorful Cairns! Known as the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef, this tropical city is filled with natural beauty and indigenous tradition.
After a quick flight to Cairns, make your way to your hotel and check in. Once you're settled, grab your camera and start exploring! Â

Today, you may want to take a tour out to the Great Barrier Reef. Sail atop crystal-clear blue-green water, go snorkeling, and keep your eyes peeled for colorful fish, manta rays, and green sea turtles. The Great Barrier Reef is a world of its own - there's so much to discover!Â
Day 7. Cairns
Ahh, another day at leisure in breathtaking Cairns. You may want to continue exploring the Great Barrier Reef, or switch gears and discover the lush rainforests that live nearby! Consider an excursion to Kuranda, a mountain village known for its scenic railway and rainforest cableway. Discover lush greenery, rushing waterfalls, sky-high mountains, and a culture-packed village.
If you feel like traveling a little farther, you may want to take a day trip to Cape Tribulation and Daintree Rainforest for a beautiful mix of land and sea.
Day 8. Cairns - Melbourne
Say "take care" to Cairns and hop a flight to Melbourne! Once you've arrived in the city of your final accommodation, enjoy the rest of the day however you'd like! Suss out the area's nightlife, clink glasses with a local, or hunt down a hot cup of the world's best coffee!

The city council approved certain areas of the city for street artists to take over with their high-quality work, so be sure not to miss this must-see aspect of this vibrant area.Â
Day 10. Melbourne
Wrap up your final day in Australia with a stroll through Melbourne's botanic garden! Walking distance from the city center, these gardens are a lush, serene way to enjoy the oasis outside the city.Â
If you haven't had your fill of souvenir shopping, check out Chapel Street for any last-minute goodies you want to bring home!
Day 11. Depart Australia
Squeeze all your souvenirs into your luggage and head to the airport. Spend your flight home replaying wonderful memories and dreaming about your next adventure!Â
