Day 1. Welcome to Munich!
Immerse yourself in the rich culture of magnificent Munich! Upon arrival, make your way to your first luxurious accommodation and spend the rest of the day at leisure.Â
Take a stroll around Schwabing, a beautiful neighborhood in Munich, lined with lively restaurants, artsy shops, and gorgeous gardens. Stop in a local bar and relax with a liter!

Day 3. Munich
Fuel up with breakfast, then grab your camera and prepare for a royally awesome day! During your tour of Neuschwanstein and Linderhof Castles, gaze out at picture-perfect mountains and stunning landscapes. These jaw-dropping fairytale castles were once homes to famous kings and queens!
In addition to the castles, you'll also enjoy a short stop in Oberammergau, a town renowned for its Passion Play, wooden crafts, and fabulously painted houses.
Royal Castles of Neuschwanstein & Linderhof Tour
Hidden in the secluded Bavarian mountains, King Ludwig II built two of his dream castles: Neuschwanstein and Linderhof. This excursion shows you these two extraordinary places that live up to the vision of Bavaria’s Fairy Tale King.
Make a short stop in Oberammergau, then continue to the hilltop Neuschwanstein Castle that inspired Disney’s Sleeping Beauty castle! Spend approximately 4 hours exploring Neuschwanstein before traveling through scenic countryside to Linderhof, Ludwig’s rococo-style hunting lodge and last home with its fantastic grotto and Moorish pavilion.Â

Day 4. Munich - Nuremberg
Feel your eyes widen as you stroll through Viktualienmarkt, a popular market in Munich, filled with everything from fresh produce to delicate crafts. Follow your guide as he/she shares interesting facts and shows you the very best of Viktualienmarkt. Best part? The tastings, of course!Â
In the afternoon, hop on the train to Nuremberg and settle into your next hotel.Â

Today, in addition to our historic tour of streets and buildings of Munich Old Town, we also experience Bavarian cuisine and explore this on and around the historic Viktualien Market, which, since the beginning of the 19th century, presents all local delicacies in the heart of the city.
Munich's Viktualien Market offers what a gourmet needs for Bavarian specialties for a simple but traditional cuisine. We explore together those individual colorful market stands and learn what a cabbage wrap is or ‘Schmalznudel’ and of course tasting those as well. How did the white sausage come into being, what is a ‘Striezel‘, what does a pretzel represent. See how honey is made into 100 different shapes and sizes and here we taste the traditional Celtic MET, a honey liquor. Tasting cheeses, which are made in the manner of century of experience.
Stories about the background of the Bavarian cuisine and how it became culinary hearty, with sweet mustard or ‘Obaza’. Bread, along with beer, the most important food, is still produced here in old craftsmanship and the many fountains and their figurines tell the Zeitgeist and chronicle the market in the last century. Tales from the beer garden and Maypole complete the history of the heart of old town and this traditional market. Incl. ‚Schmalznudel‘, traditional cheese, MET and fresh white sausage.
Day 5. Nuremberg
Ahh, wake up smiling. You're in Germany!
After breakfast, enjoy a leisurely day of sightseeing (and drinking beer). Explore Nuremberg's well-preserved old town, rich with castles, amazing architecture, and relaxing squares.
In the afternoon, you'll enjoy a unique tour through the underground cellars of Nuremberg, on which you'll learn all about beer and the making of. Your day will conclude with a tasting of some local beer!
Spend the evening trying out local specialties on your own! Treat yourself to the area's traditional sausage: Nurnberger Rostbratwurst.Â

Day 6. Nuremberg
Strap on comfy shoes, grab your camera, and get ready for a memorable day. Enjoy breakfast, then climb aboard the train to Kulmbach, where you'll visit a major beer museum! Continue by train to Bamberg, a charming area famous for its beer and UNESCO World Heritage status.

Day 7. Nuremberg - Munich
Make the most of your last day in Germany! Rejuvenate with breakfast, then head back to Munich by train. Be sure to keep your eyes looking out the window; there's so much beautiful countryside that you won't want to miss!
Back in Munich, enjoy a special walking beer tour! This 3-hour tour includes beer sampling, a museum visit, and lots of entertainment and information. Treat yourself to a delicious, traditional last night meal!
