Day 1. Welcome to Bali!
Welcome to Bali! Upon clearing Customs and Immigration, you’ll be met by a guide carrying a sign with your name.
You'll receive a welcome packet including all necessary documentation and vouchers, and all contact information for your guides and local offices. Your guide will then accompany you to your hotel.

Day 2. Seminyak
Today you will enjoy a full-day tour to the Balinese Midlands, where you'll see ancient temples, colorful markets, rice terraces, and a UNESCO-certified irrigation system.
Discover the natural beauty and ancient relics of the Balinese midlands! Meet your guide and start the day with a visit to Pura Taman Ayun, the 17th-century temple of Mengwi set amidst ponds full of lotus blossoms. The large temples and multi-tiered shrines are surrounded by a wide, elegant moat. Continue to Bedugul, a village in the central highlands famous for its stunning beauty and three lakes.
Stroll through a traditional market with a myriad of fruits, vegetables, orchids, exotic spices and souvenirs. At the nearby Lake Bratan, take a photo of the Ulun Danu temple, built on small islands in a serene lake. After lunch in a local restaurant, drive south to the famous UNESCO-listed rice terraces of Jatiluwih. Trek through the green-stepped rice fields and learn about the Subak irrigation system preserved by Balinese farmers for centuries.
Day 3. Seminyak
Today is yours to enjoy in Seminyak. Spend the day lounging at the popular beach Pantai Double Six, then indulge in dinner at a nearby restaurant.

Day 4. Seminyak - Ubud
After a morning at leisure, you will be escorted to your next hotel in Ubud, known as the heart of Bali. Upon arrival, the remainder of the day is yours to enjoy a true taste of Balinese culture.

Day 5. Ubud
Embark on a full-day tour of east and west Bali where you'll discover the culture, countryside and stunning scenery of these regions. You'll begin the day with a local dance performance, followed by Gunung Kawi Temple, the beautifully terraced rice fields in Tegalalang, and the still-active Mount Batur.
Explore the culture, countryside and stunning scenery of Bali, beginning with a performance of the famous Barong and Keris Dance. This traditional Balinese dance narrates the fight between good and evil and is a classic example of the Balinese way of blending myth and history into one reality.
Drive to Tampak Siring where you'll visit the temple of Gunung Kawi. Set at the bottom of a lush green river valley, these 11th-century temples feature 10 rock-cut shrines, called candi, carved into the cliff face. Walk down the temple stairs and take in the views of the terraced rice fields along the way.
Continue to Kintamani, set around the rim of the Gunung Batur crater. Look out over Bali's active volcano, Mount Batur, which soars over 5,000 ft into the sky. In the center is a beautiful turquoise green lake, the largest lake in Bali. After a late lunch in a local restaurant, drive back to Ubud with a stop in Tegalalang to see Bali's iconic rice terraces and enjoy a coffee break.
Day 6. Ubud
Fill up on a hearty breakfast before heading out to enjoy your full-day tour of some of Ubud's most enchanting sights, including the Batuan Village, Ubud Palace, and the Ubud Monkey Forest!
Spend an entire day exploring Ubud, the cultural heart of Bali, and immerse yourself in its stunning views, traditional homes, unique wildlife, and intricate arts and crafts. Begin your journey with a visit to Batuan village, where you'll explore a traditional Balinese house and learn about its unique architectural traditions. In accordance with Hindu beliefs, every object in the universe has an ideal placement to achieve harmony, so family shrines, kitchens, rice barns, and other rooms are thoughtfully designed and located based on these principles.
Next, head to Ubud Palace, the residence of the local royal family, centrally located in the town. Nearby, you'll find the vibrant Ubud Market, where you can stroll among stalls filled with wood carvings, textiles, and souvenirs. After enjoying a provided lunch, proceed to the Puri Lukisan Museum, the oldest art museum in Bali, showcasing contemporary paintings and wood carvings by prominent Balinese artists.
Conclude your day with a visit to the Ubud Monkey Forest, a sanctuary for the iconic long-tailed macaques. Wander through the forest and temple as mischievous monkeys roam freely. At the far side of the forest, your car will be waiting to take you back to your hotel.
Day 7. Ubud - Nusa Dua
Spend the morning in Ubud then transfer to Nusa Dua, your last stop in Bali, on the east side of the island. Take a walk on the beachfront and enjoy views of resorts, beachfront cafes, wooden fishing boats and quite a few elegant old villas.

Day 8. Nusa Dua

In the late afternoon, embark on your final guided tour, taking you to Uluwatu Temple. Watch a dazzling Balinese dance on the temple grounds then enjoy a seafood feast in a beachfront restaurant.
Enjoy a visit to Uluwatu Temple, an evening of Kecak dancing, and a barbeque seafood dinner under the stars. In the late afternoon, visit the famous Uluwatu Temple perched on the edge of a steep cliff above the crashing waves of the Indian Ocean. The temple is inhabited by a large number of monkeys, many of whom can be found roaming the pathways. Keep your belongings close as these monkeys are very curious!
As the sun sets over the glittering ocean, watch a dramatic Kecak Dance or Ramayana Monkey Chant performance at the temple. Wearing traditional checked cloth around their waists, the male dancers chant in unison while depicting a battle from the Ramayana.
After the dance, drive to a scenic beach in Jimbaran for a barbeque seafood dinner. Feast on a succulent seafood like shrimp, grilled fish, squid and clams. Try some kangkung, also known as Indonesian water spinach, and add some heat in the form of sambal, a spicy Indonesian sauce.
Day 9. Nusa Dua
On your last full day in Bali, perhaps visit The Bali Collection, a premier open-air mall with boutiques selling clothing, jewelry and souvenirs, with delicious dining options.
End your Balinese journey by strolling on the beach in Nusa Dua and watch one of the the legendary Bali sunsets.

Say goodbye to Bali as you transfer to Denpasar airport for your flight back home.
