This gorgeous green area subdivides into smaller districts: Palermo Chico, Palermo Viejo, Palermo Soho, Palermo Hollywood, and Las Canitas. You'll definitely want to find the striking Japanese Garden, filled with traditional Japanese bridges and sculptures. Around Palermo, there are tons of picnic spots, so be sure to pack some goodies!

Day 3. Buenos Aires
After breakfast, head to the colorful "barrio," or neighborhood, of La Boca. Known to capture quintessential Buenos Aires culture, Caminito, or "little path," is an eye-popping, candy-colored strip of artwork, live music, dancing, and authentic restaurants. Score some souvenirs, practice your tango moves, and chat it up with locals!
For dinner, you might want to eat at a famous "Parrilla." Parrilla simply means "grill," but at these establishments, you'll usually find a huge fire pit of roasting meat right in the center of the action. Argentina is famous for its meat, and at a Parrilla, you'll get the real deal.

Take tons of photos, then consider seeing a show at one of the many theaters in the area. Keep your eye out for Milongas, the alternative to "big dance shows," and the most classic and inexpensive way to see real tango. Some of them even offer dance classes before shows begin!
