Day 1. Welcome to Cambodia!
Touchdown in Cambodia in the city of Siem Reap. Your guide will meet you in the airport, give you your welcome packet, and transfer you to your hotel where you can check in.
Prepare for all of the amazing sights and tours ahead. Sleep in the city that rests at the gate to the ruins of Angkor. Ancient stone temples, magnificent icons, and mysterious carved faces all await you.

Day 2. Siem Reap
Start your trip with a visit to Angkor Wat, the crown jewel of Khmer architecture. The best preserved and largest of the Angkor temples, Angkor Wat offers amazing views, pure artistry in its carvings, and stunning design in its architecture.
Then you'll tour through the fortified city of Angkor Thom, decorated with demons, gods, and nagas guarding the entrance. Wander through ancient public squares, dedicated Terraces, and former royal spaces.
Finish at Preah Khan Temple. Explore narrow, winding corridors and towering walls to the heart of the enclosed temple, surrounded by jungle.
Sightseeing in Angkor
Take a stroll through the amazing Angkor Wat temple, considered the crown jewel of Khmer architecture. As the national symbol of Cambodia, Angkor Wat is not only the best preserved and largest of the Angkor temples, it is also the most religiously significant. Surrounded by a moat, fantastical statues, and lined with galleries and courtyards before you can even reach the central sanctuary, Angkor Wat's expansive grounds offer stunning views of the countryside, and its only the first stop.
Next is the fortified city of Angkor Thom. Protected by a wall and wide moats, statues of demons and gods look over the entrance and stand guard. Visit the Bayon Temple within and explore beautiful royal enclosures, ancient public squares, and old artworks standing the test of time all across the city.
Last on this stunning tour is Preah Khan, a striking temple with narrow corridors, towering walls, and a protected temple in the heart of it all, surrounded by jungle on all sides.
Day 3. Siem Reap
Spend the day touring amazing temples, from the carved pink sandstone temple of Banteay Srei and the 12-th century temple dedicated to Vishnu, to the overgrown temple of Ta Prohm, where most of the jungle growth has been allowed to remain.
See the pyramid-shaped temple of Pre Rup with five beautiful shrines adorning it and what is left of the ancient wooden Srah Srang Temple sitting on a tiny island in the middle of the Banteay Kdei basin.
Angkor Temple Tour
Start your tour by visiting Banteay Srei, carved from pink sandstone and known for its small stature and exquisite, delicate carvings covering the walls. Then you'll move onto Banteay Samre, a temple dedicated to the god Vishnu and Ta Prohm, a temple that has allowed most of the jungle growth to stay where it had grown, giving visitors the opportunity to see it the way it looked when European explorers first found it.
Then you'll move on to Pre Rup Temple where five square shrines sit among the top three tiers of the pyramid shaped temple, and then Srah Srang Temple is last, as the sun sets. Walk among this basin and visit the tiny island in the middle, where the remnants of what was once a wooden temple still stand.
Day 4. Siem Reap
Wonder at ancient and amazing temples that mark the beginning of Khmer classical art, ranging across city founders, Sanskrit inscriptions on doorposts, and delicate sandstone carvings. Then enjoy a tour through Khmer silk production at Puok Silk Farm, with a thorough walk-through of everything from collecting the cocoons from mulberry bushes to weaving the final product.
Historical Angkor Tour
Tour through a beautiful cluster of monuments and temples in the Roluos Group. Some of the earliest great temples built by the Khmer, sandstone carvings, Sanskrit inscriptions, Buddhist monasteries and more are waiting to be discovered in this group of amazing sights.
The you'll get to take an excursion to a silk farm that introduces the traditional Khmer silk production skills. Enjoy a thorough step-by-step explanation for the silk-producing process.
Day 5. Siem Reap - Kampong Thom
Today, you'll be transferred from Siem Reap to Kampong Thom where you will visit Sambor Prei Kuk. Wander through a peaceful forest where over 100 temples have been sleeping since the 6th century. Explore these ancient complexes and gain some insight into what early Cambodia was like.
Transfer to Kampong Thom
In the morning, indulge in a bountiful breakfast, then head for the large outdoor pool! Lounge in the hot sun with a refreshing drink in-hand or jump in and make a splash. Day 6. Kampong Thom - Kampong Cham - Phnom Penh
During your transfer to Phnom Penh, visit the port town of Kampong Cham that rests along the Mekong River. Enjoy the town and experience the vibrant local market before heading out to the countryside to see Phnom Pros (Man Hill) and Phnom Srei (Woman Hill) where folklore says the tradition of men asking for a woman's hand in marriage originated from a stupa-building contest.
Then continue to Wat Nokor Bachey, a monastery that was founded on top of an 11th century Mahayana Buddhist shrine and is still thriving today.

Day 7. Phnom Penh

Tour of Phnom Penh (full-day)
Experience the pure energy and chaos that makes up the fascinating city of Phnom Penh. In a city teeming with activity with the quiet reminder of a smaller town in a quieter time left in tree-lined streets and riverfront promenades. Street vendors call to the pedestrians going about their business, the Wat Phnom temple stands at the beginning of the capital, and the Royal Palace still stands as the official residence of the king.
The National Museum houses Khmer art with style among a collection of beautiful and varied Buddha statues. the Tuol Sleng Museum (Museum of Genocide) stands as a reminder of a darker past and now educates the public about the thousands that passed through its doors and never left. Central Market maintains the city's energy, offering places to shop, and the expansive Russian Market is a maze of stalls selling just about anything a visitor might look for.
Day 8. Depart Cambodia
