Day 1. Welcome to Scottsdale!
Touch down in sunny Scottsdale! Make your way to your first hotel and get settled. Tonight, meet your traveling companions over a welcome drink and say "cheers" to an amazing journey ahead!
Check-in - Scottsdale Marriott at McDowell Mountains
Scottsdale Marriott at McDowell Mountains is a luxurious hotel near some of the area's best attractions. You'll be minutes away from WestWorld Events Center, Kierland Commons outdoor shopping center, and premier golf club TPC Scottsdale. Downtown Scottsdale is only 15 minutes away for you to enjoy all that the area has to offer. All rooms are suite style and feature views of either the golf course or the pool. Day 2. Scottsdale - Grand Canyon
Recharge with a delicious breakfast, then say "see ya" to Scottsdale. Travel north through cactus-studded scenery and enjoy a tour of stunning Sedona.
After a magical morning, set out for one of America's most beautiful drives as you journey through Oak Creek Canyon, home to bright red cliffs and rugged spires of sandstone. Continue on to the one and only Grand Canyon National Park, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World! This spectacular attraction draws over 5 million visitors a year from around the globe, and for good reason.Â
Enjoy an orientation tour with a visit to Desert View before relaxing at your hotel, where you'll spend the next two nights. This evening, be sure to catch an unforgettable sunset over the canyon.Â
Yavapai Lodge East is a family-friendly hotel set within Grand Canyon National Park. The hotel is a short walk or bus ride to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, and is within walking distance to the local market, bank, and post office. All rooms in Yavapai East contain a flat-screen television, mini fridge, air conditioning, and coffee maker. Free WiFi is available in the Yavapai Lodge main building. The Yavapai Lodge Restaurant features southwest-inspired cuisine and is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The Yavapai Tavern features Arizona craft beer, wine, and signature cocktails. Day 3. Grand Canyon
If you missed the sunset, sunrise is just as impressive! After breakfast, you may want to join in on an optional flight over the Grand Canyon - definitely the thrill of a lifetime!Â
Later, set out to explore the Grand Canyon and learn all about its fascinating geology. Visit Mather Point and consider a quick hike through the popular Rim walk.Â
Enjoy an afternoon of freedom. Explore this natural wonder at your own pace! You might venture down part of Bright Angel Trail, or take a nature walk with a ranger to learn about the region's native flora and fauna.Â
Day 4. Grand Canyon - Monument Valley - Lake Powell
Enjoy an energizing breakfast, then head to Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park, where wind and water has carved the famous orange sandstone towers that rise hundreds of feet above the valley floor! Catch a thrill on an exciting 4-wheel-drive tour of Monument Valley with a knowledgeable Navajo guide. Explore the area's oddly shaped red-sandstone monoliths and mesas, the setting for some of John Ford's most memorable films.
After a whirlwind of a morning, head to Lake Powell for a relaxing 2-night stay. Tonight, hang out and get some rest, or take a peaceful stroll along Wahweap Marina.

Day 5. Lake Powell
Grab your camera and get ready for an exciting day! This morning, explore Antelope Slot Canyon with a local Navajo guide. Later int he day, enjoy some free time on Lake Powell, where sparkling blue water laps against towering red-rock canyon walls. See the majestic beauty of this vast lake up-close on an afternoon cruise!
Day 6. Lake Powell - Bryce Canyon
Say "later" to Lake Powell and travel through Utah's scenic backroads. Listen to legendary stories of early settlers while enjoying a local treat at the famous Thunderbird Restaurant!
Continue on to breathtaking Bryce Canyon National Park! Enjoy a stunning drive with tons of photo stops along the way. Take in the magnificent contrasts of bright red, yellow, and pink pillars called "hoodoos" that fill this majestic site.
