Day 1. Welcome to Cape Town!
As your plane floats down to land, peek out at the majestic mountains and deep blue waters that await you below! Upon arrival in Cape Town International Airport (CPT), you will be transferred to your luxurious hotel.
Unpack, then spend your first afternoon frolicking around the vibrant V&A Waterfront. Treat yourself to some delicious seafood at any of the Waterfront's seaside restaurants, browse through local craft shops, and listen to the lively beats of street drummers. To finish off an amazing first day, take an unforgettable sunset ride on the giant Cape Wheel that sits at the center of the Waterfront - talk about incredible views!

Winelands Tour (Full-Day)
Tour through South Africa's Winelands by starting with a brief tour of Paarl, home to wine producers such as Laborie, Nederburg, Fairview, KWV, Plaisir de Merle, and more. Work your way through to Franschhoek, a cozy little town home to some of the country's top restaurants and where Nelson Mandela was released in 1990: Groot Drakenstein Prison.
Continue on to Stellenbosch where student life, oak-lined avenues, cuisine to delight any foodie, and architecture blend together harmoniously to create an atmosphere rich in art galleries, chic eateries, and charming boutiques.
Day 4. Cape Town
Soak up the spirit of Cape Town! Spend your last day revisiting your favorite spots, or discovering new ones. If you're interested in learning about South Africa's complicated history, visit the District Six Museum and/or the Iziko South African Museum! For a truly fascinating experience, consider a quick ferry ride to Robben Island. Today, Robben Island serves as a museum open to the public, but just years ago, it served as the prison that held Nelson Mandela! See his prison cell, converse with ex-political-prisoners, and learn all about this dark time in recent history. While it may sound grim, there is a bright side! The Robben Island ferry ride offers postcard-worthy views of Table Mountain and Cape Town, and you may even see a penguin or shark in the water along your journey.Â
Day 5. Cape Town - Safari Lodge
Say "see ya" to the seaside city of Cape Town. Today, you will be transferred to the airport (CPT) for your flight to Johannesburg! Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your 5 star safari lodge - your home in the wild for the next 2 nights!Â
Settle in and enjoy the luxurious amenities offered at your tented safari camp. Take in the picture-perfect beauty of the African Plains that surround you!Â
In the late afternoon, you will embark on your very first safari drive!

Each morning, you'll begin the day with an amazing sunrise.

Day 6. Safari Lodge
Get ready to unleash your wild side! Grab your camera and prepare for a once in a lifetime adventure through the African bush. Keep your eyes peeled for the Big Five: lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, and Cape buffalo.Â
Enjoy one drive in the morning, and another one in the afternoon. In-between safari excursions, relax and take advantage of the lodge's luxurious amenities and entertaining activities!Â
Day 7. Depart South Africa
It may be your last day, but the fun far from over! This morning, enjoy one last safari drive. Cross your fingers that you'll spot every animal you'd hoped to!
When it comes time to leave, you will be transferred to the airport for your departing flight home.
