Day 1. Welcome to Cape Town!
Arrive in beautiful Cape Town to begin your vacation! You’ll be met at the airport and transferred to your accommodations. The rest of the day is yours to explore the area and relax! You can hike Signal Hill, a nearby mountain peak, for a stunning view.

Check-in - Southern Sun Waterfront Hotel
Southern Sun Waterfront Hotel is located in a tourist-friendly area of Cape Town. Guest rooms are equipped with free WiFi, television, and minibar. The hotel features an outdoor pool and fitness center. Spa services are also available. There is an onsite restaurant serving South African-inspired dishes, and a bar where guests can unwind with a cocktail. The V&A Waterfront is just a short walk from the hotel.
Day 2. Cape Town
Today, you’ll embark on a tour of Cape Town. Learn about the historical roots of the city, then see its more modern buildings and malls. The tour passes the oldest building in Cape Town, the Castle of Good Hope. You’ll also see Company Gardens, a lush tree haven! The tour drops you at Table Mountain, where you have the option to ride a cable car to the top of the mountain (weather permitting.) In the evening, explore the neighborhood, where you can find unique architecture and fantastic vegetarian food.
Day 3. Cape Town
Today, you’ll spend the day on a wine tour! Drive through the heart of Cape Winelands to see vast mountain ranges, vineyards, and unique Cape Dutch style architecture. You’ll drive through Stellenbosch, the heart of South Africa’s wine industry. Check out Franschhoek for award-winning cuisine, and enjoy a wine tasting. If you have time, visit the Paarl region estate to learn more about the area’s rich history.
Day 4. Cape Town
Today, you’ll embark on a full-day Cape Point and Peninsula Tour! You’ll travel along the Altlantic Seaboard, where you’ll have a great view of the rocky shoreline. You’ll stop at Llandudno look-out point where you can snap some incredible vacation photos, then drive into the fishing village of Hout Bay.
Then continue to Chapman’s Peak, considered one of the most breathtaking views in Cape Point. Try the local cuisine for lunch, then explore Simon’s Town - home to the adorable Boulder Beach Penguin Colony! View these creatures in their natural habitats. Then your tour will go to Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, known for their wide array of native plants. You’ll return in time for dinner. Spend your evening relaxing or exploring the famous Cape Town dance party scene.
Day 5. Cape Town - Johannesburg
Today you’ll be transferred from your hotel to Cape Town airport, where you’ll fly to Johannesburg! Explore the City of Gold on an unforgettable tour. Roam the Newtown area, a newly refurbished shopping, and dining hotspot!

This morning you’ll embark on a half-day tour of Soweto! This cluster of townships in southwest Johannesburg was the site of a struggle against the injustice of apartheid regimes. Learn the important historical significance of the area, then have lunch at a local tavern. You can spend the rest of the afternoon exploring exhibits in The Apartheid Museum.
Day 7. Johannesburg - Hazyview
Today you’ll depart from Johannesburg and travel to Mpumalanga! You’ll take the scenic route and see Blyde River Canyon. If you have time, stop at “God’s Window” on the edge of the Canyon for the view of a lifetime! You’ll arrive in the late afternoon at your hotel. For the rest of the evening, consider checking out a nearby Reptile Park, or go zip lining!

Day 8. Hazyview
Spend your day exploring Kruger National Park! The park contains thousands of animals including the Big Five: buffalos, elephants, lions, leopards, and rhinos! You might even spot rare species of animals on this 7,580-mile expanse.

Today, you’ll go on a special early-morning game viewing trip. Spot creatures big and small and get fantastic photos! Later in the day, you’ll return to the hotel for an afternoon of leisure. Check out nearby shopping centers, stroll along the Sabie River, or explore Kruger Park.
Day 10. Hazyview - Johannesburg
Time permitting, you can go on an early-morning game viewing excursion before checkout. You'll then be transferred to the airport for a return flight to Johannesburg. After you check into your final hotel, the rest of the day is yours to enjoy!
