Once you've exhausted most of Cape Town, hop a flight to Kruger National Park, where you'll go on daily game drives through Thornybush Game Reserve, a private game reserve stocked with native African animals.

Day 1. Welcome to Cape Town!
Arrive in Cape Town and enjoy a transfer to your hotel. Take a stroll on the historic V&A Waterfront, located near your hotel, to get a feel for this vibrant city.

Built on the cornerstones of great service and personalized hospitality, Sunsquare Cape Town City Bowl is the city center's hottest new hotel. Proudly standing on the corner of Buitengracht and Strand Street, the hotel has dedicated basement parking for visitors with cars who would like to explore beyond the City Bowl. Take off on foot to explore the vibrant city square then return to the hotel to enjoy a piping hot cup of coffee in the lobby. Vigour & Verve is the on-site restaurant where you can sample local food and relax in the feel-good atmosphere with a delicious drink. Day 2. Cape Town
Visit the scenic Cape Peninsula today! See Chapman's Peak, the Cape Point Nature Reserve where a beautiful old lighthouse stands over beautiful greenery, zebras, baboons, and birds, and Boulders Beach, which is known for its penguins!

Day 3. Cape Town
Spend a day in Cape Town with fabulous wine and beautiful landscapes on a full-day Winelands tour! Highlights include the Paarl Wine Region, Franschhoek Valley, and the town of Stellenbosch.
Winelands Tour (Full-Day)
Tour through South Africa's Winelands by starting with a brief tour of Paarl, home to wine producers such as Laborie, Nederburg, Fairview, KWV, Plaisir de Merle, and more. Work your way through to Franschhoek, a cozy little town home to some of the country's top restaurants and where Nelson Mandela was released in 1990: Groot Drakenstein Prison.
Continue on to Stellenbosch where student life, oak-lined avenues, cuisine to delight any foodie, and architecture blend together harmoniously to create an atmosphere rich in art galleries, chic eateries, and charming boutiques.
Day 4. Cape Town
Today, you'll embark on a full-day safari! Enjoy round-trip transfers, a buffet breakfast, buffet lunch, a 2- to 3-hour game drive, and more!

The program includes a welcome drink, a scrumptious buffet breakfast, 2- to 3-hour game drive led by an experienced guide who will share exciting inside stories: facts about your surroundings, easily rousing your inner wild side, then a leisurely lunch, after which you may choose to add on a spa treatment, horseback or quad bike safari.

Day 5. Cape Town
Head to the city's iconic natural landmark: Table Mountain. Hike or take a cable car for some of the world's most famous views and one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature.
Afterward, visit the vibrant-colored Bo-Kaap district, which is rooted in Malaysian, African, Indian and Sri Lankan culture. You'll find plenty of fabulous restaurants here to try authentic South African cuisine!
Day 6. Cape Town - Kruger National Park
After breakfast, you will be met and transferred to Cape Town International Airport for your flight to Johannesburg and onward connection to Hoedspruit Airport. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to your accommodations in the Thornybush Game Reserve, which lies adjacent to the Greater Kruger National Park. Here you will enjoy the next few days experiencing exclusive safari adventures in both open Land Rovers, and on foot.

An intimate and personal experience awaits you at Tangala Safari Camp. Situated in the heart of the world-renowned Thornybush Game Reserve with sweeping views overlooking expansive waterhole towards the majestic Drakensberg Mountain Range. Guests are sure to be treated to thrilling Big 5 game drives unforgettable experiences. The camp is comprised of only 4 chalets and 6 tents, assuring guests of personal attention, delicious meals, and outstanding service.
The lodge is comfortable yet rustic and relies on solar energy and gas. The rooms are traditionally decorated and comprise of twin beds en-suite his and hers basins, showers and toilet. There are also fans, mosquito nets, and solar lighting. The main areas consist of an open plan interactive kitchen, boma, dining room. The lounges and decked swimming pool area overlook the active waterhole. Meals are served in either our dining room or on our deck overlooking the waterhole and between activities guests are welcome to relax by the pool sunbeds or lounge areas.
The lodge is fenced for your safety and our experienced team of rangers, trackers, and hosts look forward to welcoming you and to intrepid the sights and sounds of the bush.
Day 7. Kruger National Park
You can embark on early morning and late afternoon safaris and spend your days searching for animals in the reserve, relax at the lodge, or a combination of both. Look for lions, elephants, giraffe, and more among the African bush.
Day 8. Depart South Africa
Rise early for breakfast and a final safari excursion. Pack your things, pick up a souvenir and make sure you have all your photos taken, as you will be transferred to the Hoedspruit Airport to begin your trip home.
