When selecting a travel insurance policy, please bear in mind that you must have medical coverage, and you must have a minimum coverage of $200,000 USD in case of repatriation and/or emergency rescue. This is an escorted tour. It’s perfect if you prefer not to do your own driving and want to see as many sights as you can during your vacation. 


This 7-night vacation provides an amazing overview of some of China's greatest cities!

Begin in Beijing with a few nights of exploration.  Your time here includes a trip to the Mutianyu Section of the Great Wall of China! Then, you'll visit the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square via Beijing public transportation. You'll also take an orientation tour of Beijing and have some free time to experience the city on your own!

Next, you'll travel to Xi'an. With a rich history spanning different dynasties, you'll quickly learn that Xi'an has much to offer! Take a tour of the Terracotta Warriors, the famed life-size sculptures depicting the first Emperor of China. Continue your exploration with free time before hopping on the bullet train to Shanghai!

China's biggest city, Shanghai has much to offer in the way of culture, cuisine, and attractions! Take a day trip to Suzhou to see UNESCO World Heritage Site gardens, the Suzhou Museum, Tiger Hill, and more! Then, after an orientation tour of The Bund, spend your final day however you please. Visit Yu Garden, shop on Nanjing Road, and experience the incredible city of Shanghai!

Day 1. Welcome to Beijing!

Make your way to your hotel and check in. This evening, you'll have a welcome meeting with your group leader and fellow travelers!

Day 3. Beijing - Xi'an

This morning, you'll take Beijing public transport to the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square. Your group leader will help guide the way!

This afternoon, you'll board a local train to Xi'an, your next destination.
