Day 1. Welcome to Boston!
Upon arrival in Boston, make your way to your first hotel. Your tour director will be on-hand late this afternoon to answer any questions.
Check-in - Holiday Inn Express Boston Quincy
This stylish Holiday Inn Hotel is about 7 miles from Downtown Boston, about a mile from Wollaston Beach, and a short walk to the North Quincy subway station, making it easy to get around. The hotel is also less than two miles from Adams National Historical Park, if you're looking for some time in nature. Logan Airport is the closest airport, being about 6 miles from the hotel.

Day 2. Boston - Portland - Bar Harbor
This morning, enjoy a pretty drive north into Maine, where you will enjoy a tour of the historic maritime city of Portland. Hop back in the coach and continue northeast via Bangor to Bar Harbor, a popular seaside resort area and gateway to Acadia National Park. This evening, treat yourself to steamed mussels and buttery Maine lobster!

Stroll along the scenic Shore Path, set out on a nature cruise, or browse the inviting shops, galleries, and boutiques that dot the town. Your Tour Director will be on hand with recommendations for sightseeing and dining.
Bar Harbor is situated on Mount Desert Island, home of the ruggedly beautiful Acadia National Park. Drive through woodlands, past beaver lodges, rocky beaches, and rounded mountains ascending the glacier-scoured granite peak to the summit of Cadillac Mountain, the highest point on the Atlantic Coast and one of the first to see the sunrise. As you explore the popular seaside town of Bar Harbor on your own, you may choose to walk the Shore Path, and/or visit the shops, galleries and boutiques the line the pretty streets.
Day 4. Bar Harbor - Farmington - North Conway
Discover the off-beaten paths of inland Maine, meandering through unspoiled farmlands, blueberry barrens, and woodlands renowned for their vibrant hues in autumn. Take a break to relish in the warm hospitality of Farmington, a town founded by American Revolution veterans
Tonight, enjoy a peaceful evening in this spectacular New England mountain location.

Explore the old whaling port of Provincetown - known locally as simply "P-town". This eclectic seaside town is a tiny haven often referred to as “Land’s End.” Stroll MacMillan Pier with its fishing boats and craft shacks, browse the colorful shops of Commercial Street, or dig into a fresh lobster roll, Portuguese pastry, or some fried clams.
Day 9. Depart Boston
Depart Hyannis and head to Boston, where you'll enjoy a morning tour of Boston's top attractions and most significant landmarks. Then, you will make your way to Logan International Airport for your return flight. Spend your flight home replaying wonderful memories and dreaming about your next adventure!
