Day 1. Welcome to Barcelona!
Arrive in Barcelona and immediately become immersed in colorful culture and artistic flavor. Enjoy a private transfer to your first luxurious accommodation, settle in, then begin exploring this fascinating city!
Spend your first night strolling along La Rambla or walking through the historic Gothic Quarter. Watch authentic street performers dance the night away, browse through unique shops, and grab some tapas at a quaint cafe. Never too early to splurge on souvenirs!
Transfer to Barcelona airport
Check-in - H10 Casanova
Barcelona is a bustling city - be in the center of it all in this 4-star boutique hotel built in a restored 18th-century building. You'll be just steps from Plaça Catalunya, Passeig de Grà cia and La Rambla! The comfortable rooms at the H10 Casanova have very modern and functional decor and are equipped with all the amenities needed to ensure a pleasant stay including WiFi, air conditioning, and minibars. Guests can choose to dine at the luxurious on-site restaurant with spectacular views of Gran Via or grab a quick snack at the lounge bar. One of the most appealing aspects of this hotel is the seasonal Sky Bar Terrace where you can sip a cocktail and enjoy views of the entire city of Barcelona!
Day 2. Barcelona
Following breakfast, start your Barcelona adventure with a private guided tour. See the Cathedral, Sagrada Familia, Olympic Village, and more! After the tour, head to the colorful Park Guell designed by Barcelona's favorite son, Antoni Gaudi. Get lost in the surrealist and whimsical structures of the park.
In the evening, enjoy a night out on the town in L’Eixample, a favorite among gay and lesbian travelers for its many bars and nightclubs.
Barcelona Private Sightseeing Tour (2 hours)
Enjoy a private 2-hour tour of Barcelona by luxury car with an English-speaking driver. The variety and wealth of Barcelona's heritage provide a number of attractive routes through its various districts, and along the way, you will get to know the most iconic monuments of the city.
As you explore this cosmopolitan Mediterranean city, you’ll visit the façade of the Barcelona Cathedral, and of course the Sagrada Familia - a unique creation that has become Barcelona's most iconic landmark. The tour continues to the Olympic Village, the Columbus Monument, and finally on to the Montjuïc Mountain, where you will be able to see the Olympic Stadium and Sant Jordi Palace.
Day 3. Barcelona
Spend the day at leisure in Barcelona! Stroll through the Gothic Quarter on your way to the Picasso Museum, which houses one of the most extensive collections of artworks by Pablo Picasso.
You could also head to the most popular gay beaches like Nova Icaria, San Sebastià and Barceloneta and the Mar Bella nudist beach.
In the evening, enjoy a private walking tour of Barcelona's favorite food - tapas! You'll have the knowledge of an expert guide and get to sample tasty bites of Spanish ham, seafood, cheese and more.
Barcelona Private Walking Tapas Tour (2 hours)
Enjoy an escorted private walking tapas tour! The most inescapable element of Spanish cooking is tapas, or small snacks now popular all over the world. Accompanied by a local guide who will be pointing out our less-known cultural details, experience Catalan culture through its food. You will find bars, taverns, and even entire neighborhoods that specialize in tapas.

Day 4. Barcelona - Sitges
Say goodbye to Barcelona today as you pick up your rental car from Sants Railway Station and drive 40 minutes to your next destination - Sitges! Located 35 miles southwest of Barcelona, Sitges is a popular destination for day trippers and gay and lesbian travelers. In February, Sitges plays host to Carnival while in the summer there are gay-themed events every weekend.
Check into your seaside accommodation, then stroll around the beautiful and historical part of town. Some popular museums in town include Museu Maricel, Museu Cau Ferrat and Museu Romantic, a manor house that dates back to 1793.
Check-in - Hotel Antemare
Surrounded by beautiful gardens and only a minute from the beach on foot, the Hotel Antemare offers a truly serene stay with bright, airy lounges, a lovely spa with personalized treatments, and state-of-the-art technology. Guests can enjoy an outdoor pool, a buffet breakfast of local and Mediterranean cuisine, event rooms for up to 200 people, a snack bar, and free Wi-Fi.
Rooms are simple yet elegant, and feature air conditioning, a flat-screen TV with international channels, a desk, a safe, ironing facilities upon request, complimentary newspapers, blackout drapes, a pillowtop mattress, and private bathrooms as well as a hairdryer and complimentary toiletries. Some rooms also have balconies. Just 150 feet away is Sitges beach, and 20 minutes away is Barcelona International Airport. A 40 minute drive will deliver you to Barcelona's city center, but the Garrag Natural Park and Cau Ferrat, as well as other museums, are all nearby.
Day 5. Sitges
Sitges is renowned for its miles of sandy beaches! Pick a beach and spend the morning or afternoon lounging by the water. The most popular Sitges beach within the gay community is Platja de la Rodona. There are also several nudist beaches including Platja dels Balmains and Platja d’Aiguadolç.
Sitges' vibrant nightlife is not to be missed. When the sun goes down, hear the latest sounds in the discos, and dance until dawn in venues with a predominantly gay and lesbian vibe.
Day 6. Sitges
Today, take a 1 hr 40 min drive to medieval Girona! Stroll around the old town and visit the 12th-century Banys Àrabs (Arab Baths) or the Romanesque Monestir de Sant Pere de Galligants. The newer part of town along the River Onyar has many excellent tapas bars.
Return to Sitges in the early evening to experience its legendary nightlife one last time.
Day 7. Depart Spain
Your Catalan adventure ends today. Pack up all your souvenirs, then drive to Barcelona airport where you will drop off your rental car. Transfer to your departure gate and fly home!
