Morning Bogota City Tour (Half-Day)
Join your guide for a morning tour of Bogota! Begin in La Candelaria, the city's historic neighborhood filled with cobble stoned streets, Baroque churches, and Spanish colonial architecture. This vibrant neighborhood is also home to several universities, libraries, museums, and traditional restaurants. Stroll through brightly colored homes and narrow alleyways lined with shops selling handicrafts, then journey across the main square, Plaza Bolivar. As you walk, admire grand government buildings, and experience local hat-making with a visit ti one of a dozen milliners along Calle San Miguel!
Pass by the Fernando Botero Museum, which holds a large collection of this famous Colombian artist's works. The museum contains nearly 34,000 gold pieces, plus 20,000 bone, stone, ceramic, and textile articles belonging to 13 Pre-Hispanic societies!
Continue your tour with a visit to the emerald museum. These precious green stones are some of Colombia's most iconic mining products, and they are a huge part of Colombian history.Â
Day 3. Bogota - Medellin
You're off to Medellin! Say "bye" to Bogota and enjoy a convenient transfer to Dorado International Airport. The magical city of Medellin is also known as the "City of Eternal Spring" because the weather is almost always pleasant.Â
Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your next hotel. Once you get all settled, treat yourself to a delicious meal at a local restaurant. Tonight, you may want to check out the city's dazzling Christmas light displays that twinkle throughout the city. Go souvenir shopping and warm up with a rich hot chocolate!Â

Day 5. Medellin

Day 6. Medellin - Cartagena

Morning Cartagena City Tour (Half-Day)
Experience Cartagena's highlights on a delightful city tour! Did you know that Cartagena was given the name "La Heroica" (Heroic City) by Simon Bolivar in 1815? This is because the city resisted 105 days of siege by the Spanish. The city of Cartagena has many stories to tell, as its streets are packed with history and tradition.
Begin your tour at the fortress of San Felipe de Barajas, a masterpiece of engineering and military strategy built by the Spaniards to defend the city from pirates and pillagers. Despite several attempts to storm it, the fortress was never taken.
After visiting the fortress, stroll around the walled colonial city, where narrow streets and vine-draped balconies will take you back in time. Enjoy a visit to the Convent of San Pedro Claver, a monumental three-story building that is considered one of the jewels of Spanish colonial architecture.
Day 8. Cartagena
There's nothing quite like waking up in Cartagena! Start off with a lovely breakfast, then enjoy a day at leisure! Today is all about independent exploration - free time for what you want to do.Â
You may want to stroll around the Ciudad Amurallada, the "walled city," home to a slew of restaurants and shops. Or, have some fun in the sun at nearby Playa Blanca! While it may be the holiday season, in Colombia, it's beach season.Â
Day 9. Depart Colombia
