Day 1. Welcome to San Jose!
Feel the excitement as you land in sunny San Jose! Pick up your rental car, head to your comfortable accommodations, and get settled in. When you're ready, grab your camera and start exploring!
Gaze in awe as you discover magnificent landscapes and become starstruck by what was once Costa Rica's most active volcano.
A Tip For Your Trip: The drive time from San Jose to Arenal is about 3 hours.

Day 2. Arenal

Day 3. Arenal
Walk on the wild side today by visiting Proyecto Asis, a wild animal rescue center. There are many exciting things to do here, like exploring around Arenal's iconic Hanging Bridges. Marvel at different views of the volcano as you hike through trails, paths, and bridges through the lush forest.
Day 4. Arenal - Manuel Antonio
Say goodbye to Arenal, since today, you're heading to Manuel Antonio! Located on the Pacific Coast, this area is one of the most popular beach getaways in Costa Rica. Consider stopping along the way in the Tarcoles areas where you can meet the friendly locals and treat yourself to a ceviche-making class.
Once you arrive to your accommodations, use the rest of today to check out one of Manuel Antonio's gorgeous beaches: Playa Manuel Antonio and Playa Espadilla Sur.

Day 6. Manuel Antonio
Grab your sunscreen and sunglasses, then head back to the beach! Alternatively, you can check out the Si Como No's private reserve. Snap photos of beautiful butterflies, caimans, and turtles as you hike, raft, kayak, or even indulge in a catamaran tour!
