Day 1. Welcome to Dublin!
Arrive at Dublin International Airport, then enjoy a transfer to your hotel in the heart of the city. Your hotel is located within a short distance of Dublin's bustling Grafton Street, so once you get settled in, take a walk and get into the Christmas spirit! Included with this vacation is a 2-day Dublin pass, which you can start using today.

The Alex
The Alex was the third of O'Callaghan Hotel Group's Dublin hotels on this corner of Merrion Square. Day 2. Dublin
Take advantage of your included Dublin Pass today! Stop by the Trinity College campus, home to the illuminated manuscript, the Book of Kells. You might also want to take a deeper dive into the drinking culture with a tour of the factories of your favorite stouts and spirits! Fans of the black stuff will want to explore the Guinness Storehouse, while whiskey fanatics will want to visit the Old Jameson Distillery or Teeling Whiskey Distillery.
Day 3. Dublin
Today, enjoy a full-day tour by rail to the Ancient East cities of Kilkenny and Waterford. Known for its imposing castle, Kilkenny is a delightful small city with tons of charm. In coastal Waterford, a city known for its Viking history, you'll get to tour the famous Waterford crystal factory.
Waterford Crystal & Kilkenny City Day Tour by Rail
Board the train in Dublin and ride through the lush fertile countryside of County Kildare and on through Curragh, which is famous for its racecourse that's home of the Irish Derby. By 9:00am, arrive in Kilkenny, situated on the river Nore. A beautiful small Irish city, most of its buildings are built of black limestone, giving the city the nickname "Marble City." Enjoy a guided tour of Kilkenny by Road Train (April to October), and admire Kilkenny Castle and its rose garden.
After Kilkenny, travel by rail to Waterford, a Viking city on the banks of the River Suir. On arrival in Waterford Station, you are transferred to the Waterford Crystal Visitor Centre for a guided tour, where you will see craftsman engaged in the traditional tasks of blowing and cutting the world-famous crystal glass. Have lunch on your own before leaving Waterford back to Dublin.
Day 4. Depart Ireland
Your holiday getaway in Dublin ends today. At the appropriate time, enjoy a transfer to Dublin airport for your flight home.
