This will contain all the documents and vouchers you'll need this week, as well as contact information for your guide and their local offices.Â

Day 2. Sanur
After breakfast, you will set off on the Hidden Bali Trek with your guide. Lunch will be included, as well as a complimentary bottle of water. If it's hot, it may be a good idea to bring extra water, just to be safe. Don't forget to wear comfy walking shoes and your camera - you'll thank yourself later!
Once the tour is over, you are free to choose how you'd like to spend the rest of the day.
Hidden Bali Trekking Excursion, with lunch
Get ready for amazing adventure and spectacular scenery! You will be picked up by your driver and tour guide for a journey to a small village near Mengwi for the start of your 3 hour trekking. On this easy trekking, you will walk over small hidden paths through rice paddies, past rivers, and in coconut plantations. Your guide will explain to you everything about the ancient Balinese Subak system that is used to distribute water evenly for all farmers to water their sawahs (rice fields). This area in Tabanan is also called the granary of Bali because of its outstretched paddy fields that provide a lot of the rice consumed on the island.
There will be plenty of opportunities to take great pictures of the stunning scenery. The guide will arrange a pause where you will be served a refreshing coconut to drink. The trekking ends with a traditional Balinese lunch at either a local restaurant or in a Balinese gazebo, if available.
Day 3. Sanur
This is where your sample itinerary begins! Don't forget daily breakfast is included in your package unless you'd prefer to venture out to see what the locals are having.Â
Why not kick off your free time with a morning at the beach? If you're up early, the sunrise scene is spectacular! Once things brighten up, you could do a little sunbathing, walk along the promenade, or go for a dip. You'll probably see a lot of people riding bikes, kayaking, or flying kites - it won't take much searching to find somewhere to rent gear and join in!
Fill the afternoon with some local exploration - the area is studded with stores, boutiques, art shops, and other places to check out. The main shopping streets are on Jalan Tamblingan, Jalan Mertasari, and the Ngurah Rai bypass road. Keep your eyes peeled; you never know what you might find.
After you've worked up an appetite, head back to Jalan Danau Tamblingan street to check out the culinary scene and see if anything piques your interest.Â
Day 4. Sanur - Tulamben - Sanur
Perhaps today is the right day to hit the water. You may enjoy a trip up to Tulamben, a tiny village sitting at the foot of the mighty Agung volcano. Strap on your scuba gear or grab your mask and snorkel and dive in!
These waters hold all kinds of treasures - plenty of active sea life, a vibrant coral garden, and even an Underwater Temple with undersea status! However, if you're seeking true adventure, swim out past the reef a bit and you'll find the sunken USS Liberty - a WWII cargo ship.
The Liberty was torpedoed by a Japanese submarine out in the Lombok Strait in 1942 and was unable to make it back to port. The captain steered the ship onto the beach at Tulamben, but it was eventually pushed back into the water by lava flow. Now, it is a popular destination for scuba divers and snorkelers alike.
Day 5. Sanur - Uluwatu - Sanur
A trip to Bali isn't complete without exploring a temple or two! Consider setting off to the Badung Regency, where you will find one of Bali's best-known attractions: Uluwatu Temple.
This Hindu Sea Temple is notable for its spectacular setting and spiritual significance. Uluwatu Temple is one of six key temples included in Bali's spiritual pillars and is believed to be the place where the three divine powers of Brahma, Vishnu, and Siva became one.
To get the most out of your experience, go a little bit before sunset so you can catch the best views from the top of the cliff. A traditional Kecak Fire Dance, which is a captivating Balinese art form, is performed every day at sunset on the adjacent clifftop.
Be sure to prearrange your ride back to Sanur, as public transit does not run to this area of Uluwatu.
A Tip For Your Trip: Bring a banana or some peanuts along to Uluwatu Temple. The monkeys there like to try to steal sunglasses and cameras but can be distracted with food!
Day 6. Sanur - Ubud - Sanur
The town of Ubud is in the uplands of Bali and only about 45 minutes north of Sanur by car. This lush oasis is covered in rice fields and river gorges, making it a haven of tranquility once you move away from the bustling city center.
Kick off your day with a visit to the stunning lotus pond at Saraswati temple before heading out to explore the countryside. You can rent a motorbike for the day if you're looking for some independent travel.
One of the top attractions in the area is the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary, which can be found in the village of Padangtegal. Here, you can walk through a nature reserve which is home to about 700 monkeys and explore three temples which date back to the 14th century. The forest itself contains 115 separate species of trees, some of which are considered holy and used in various Balinese spiritual practices.
After a visit to the reserve, you may enjoy a stop at the Tegenungan Waterfall for a quick swim on your way back!
