Day 1. Welcome to Amsterdam!
You'll fly into the colorful and whimsical Amsterdam Airport, then enjoy a transfer from the airport to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to explore this exciting city. Tonight, meet your Tour Director and fellow travelers.
Transfer to Amsterdam hotel
Check in to luxury at the contemporary Dorint Airport hotel. As soon as you step through its doors, you'll notice its stylish decor and modern furnishings. Settle in to your spacious room, then take a pleasant swim in the large pool or relax in the sauna! When it's time to explore Amsterdam, take just a quick drive or train ride to center city!
When its time to eat, indulge in mouthwatering Dutch cuisine at the elegant on-site Restaurant de Dam. After dinner, unwind with a cocktail in the cozy "Damrak Lounge," otherwise known as the "living room." After a day of excitement, head up to your room, sprawl out on your large comfortable bed, and use the hotel's free WiFi to plan your next day of adventure.
Holiday Inn Express Amsterdam Arena Towers is in the center of Amsterdam Southeast, the most dynamic entertainment area of that part of Amsterdam. Free Wi-Fi access is available throughout the hotel. Snacks, sandwiches and drinks can be bought from the vending machines in the lobby.

Day 2. Amsterdam
Today, enjoy sightseeing in Amsterdam, with a local guide pointing out the city highlights. Later, enjoy views of the city from water level with an included canal cruise of the city followed by your diamond center experience. Your day ends with some time in the afternoon on your own.
Day 3. Amsterdam - Rhineland
Leaving Amsterdam, stop for a walk in Utrecht’s town center. Founded in 48 AD by the Romans, this is a great city to roam around in. Its centerpiece is the Dom church, towering above the city. Cross into Germany to reach the Rhineland area.

Day 6. Munich - Innsbruck - Venice
Travel from Munich to Austria for a stop in the capital of Tyrol, Innsbruck. In the afternoon, drive over Brenner Pass into the Italian Alps to admire this unique natural wonder before descending into the Adige Valley to the Venice area.

Cross the Lombardy plains this morning to Canton Ticino’s subtropical resort of Lugano.
