All Balinese bathe here at least once a year for a ritual cleaning, in these holy waters dedicated to Vishnu.
Another highlight will be your visit to Bali’s UNESCO World Heritage-listed Jatiluwih, where you’ll admire the widest panoramic view of Bali’s iconic rice terraces.

Day 1. Welcome to Bali!
Upon arrival at Ngurah Rai International Airport in Denpasar, you’ll be met and transferred to your hotel for check-in. The remainder of your day is at leisure.

Located in the heart of Sanur, you'll find an abundance of shops and nightlife in the area near the resort. The Swiss-Belresort Watu Jimbar features an amazing free-shaped pool, complete with a poolside bar, gym and spa, perfect for getting you straight into holiday mode! And for those who crave the gentle roll of the waves and a Bali beach between the toes, it’s all just a stone’s throw away from this Bali resort.

Day 2. Sanur - Uluwatu - Sanur
You will enjoy most of the day today at leisure. Then, around 2:30 pm, you'll head to Uluwatu Temple – set on a cliff in the very south of Bali, overlooking the Indian Ocean and offering a dramatic sunset. After visiting the temple, you'll enjoy a drive to Jimbaran Beach for a delicious seafood dinner. Overnight in Sanur.

Day 3. Sanur - Tirtaempul - Gunung Kawi - Batur Volcano & Lake - Ubud
After breakfast, you’ll check out of your hotel, and set off on your discovery of Bali’s highlights. You'll end your day in Ubud, where you will have some free time for solo discovery!

Bali Highlights Discovery
Start your discovery of beautiful Bali's highlights with a drive towards Kintamani. You'll pass over scenic roads offering beautiful views of the rice fields, observing the daily life of the Balinese farmers.
On the way you’ll stop to visit the unique temple of Gunung Kawi. Set amidst lush rice terraces, these 11th century temples feature 10 rock-cut Candi (shrines) carved into the cliff face. They stand over 20-feet high and combine ancient Hindu and Buddhist temple attributes. There are numerous stairs leading down to the temple.
After that, you’ll continue to the nearby village of Tampaksiring to explore Tirta Empul, a temple famous for its sacred spring water. All Balinese bathe there at least once a year for a ritual cleaning, in these holy waters dedicated to Vishnu.
We’ll then drive on further to the north until we reach Kintamani, a volcanic region where Mount Batur is standing, with its breathtaking views. Adjacent to the volcano is the large crescent-shaped Batur Lake, surrounded by the high walls of the crater rim. Here you’ll enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, with panoramic views over Lake Batur.
From here you’ll continue on to Legian, where you’ll have the remainder of the day free.
Day 4. Pejeng Trekking - Ubud City Tour
This morning after breakfast, you'll head out for your Ubud City Tour! After your extensive adventure, you’ll then return to the hotel, where you’ll have the remainder of the afternoon free.

Ubud City Tour
Experience unique Ubud with your city tour! Your day starts with a short drive to the outskirts of Ubud, where you will do some soft trekking (for approximately 2 hours) though a local village and beautiful rice fields. You’ll be guided by a local farmer who will proudly show his village and rice paddies, where he spends his days working. After that, you’ll enjoy lunch served in a local restaurant.
After lunch you’ll be taken to the center of Ubud to visit the famous Monkey Forest, where you’ll see its cheeky inhabitants fooling around. From here you’ll be taken to Ubud Palace, followed by a visit to the local market. You’ll have the chance to test your bargaining skills when negotiating prices with the local vendors that come here every day to sell their handcrafted goods.
Day 5. Ubud - Goa Lawah - Besakih - Kerthagosa - Legian
You’ll check out of your hotel after breakfast, then depart to visit the east side of Bali. After the tour, you will check into your final accommodation for the trip.

East Bali Discovery
Discover the splendors of Bali's east today! Your first stop will be the countryside village of Penglipuran, known as a bamboo town for the plant abundance. Continue over very scenic roads and stunning landscapes with a visit to Besakih, known as the ‘Mother Temple’ of Bali. Located on the western slopes of Mount Agung, Bali’s highest volcano (8,700 feet), Besakih is the largest and most important temple on the island.
You’ll stop for lunch in a local restaurant, before continuing on to Klunkung to visit Kertagosa. This ancient justice court, part of the former Semarapura Palace, retains the most detailed ceiling paintings in Bali, depicting punishments that were given to criminals in ancient times. You’ll also have time to visit the nearby museum.
Day 6. Legian - Tanah Lot - Jatiluwih - Bedugul Market - Ulun Danu - Taman Ayun - Legian
After breakfast, you will visit several of Bali's most iconic temples, as well as enjoy the best view of Bali's breathtaking Rice terraces.

Temples & Terraces of Bali Tour
Today you’ll start with a visit to Tanah Lot, Bali’s most famous temple, set dramatically on a small island right in front of the coast, and only accessible to the Balinese Hindus by walking through the sea.
Continue with a visit to Bali’s UNESCO World Heritage-listed Jatiluwih, where you’ll reach the widest panoramic view of Bali’s iconic rice terraces. Located on a slope near the holy mountain of Batukaru, this area is known as the rice granary of Bali, and is one of the best examples of Subak-style rice farming in Bali. Here, we’ll go for a leisurely hour-long walk through the rice fields. Afterwards, you’ll enjoy lunch in a local restaurant, overlooking the rice terraces.
The next stop will be the Ulun Danu Temple, one of Bali’s most photographed temples, set on several small islands in the lake. We then head back towards Legian, with one more stop scheduled at the Royal Taman Ayun Temple in Mengwi, surrounded by a fish pond and with unique multi-roofed structures.
Day 7. Depart Bali
Enjoy breakfast in the hotel, and free time for the remainder of the day until it is time for you to transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
