Day 2. Galway
Today, you may consider using your Bunratty Castle & Folk Park Entrance admission. Catch a glimpse into the past with this enthralling and interactive theme park and amusement center!
Bunratty Castle & Folk Park Admission
Be transported to farm life in 19th century Ireland during your visit to Bunratty Folk Park! You will be charmed as you visit the farm houses and cottages and watch the tasks of rural Irish families. Set on 26 acres, this folk park is an uncanny recreation of an old Irish village, down to the furnishing in the shops and homes.
Costumed characters bring the village to life as you watch bakers, policemen, and schoolteachers go about their days. Explore a school, a pub, a grocery story, a hardware store, a post office, and more! For a fun treat, see the baking of the griddle bread next to the fire and be sure to taste it hot with fresh creamery butter.Â
Also on site is Bunratty Castle, the most complete and authentic medieval fortress in Ireland. Built in 1425 it was restored in 1954 to its former medieval splendor and now contains mainly 15th and 16th century furnishings, tapestries, and works of art which capture the mood of those times. See the best examples of medieval furniture, stroll through walled gardens, and pay close attention to the historical detail that fills the castle.
Day 3. Galway - Ireland Bed and Breakfast
Today, you'll make your way from Galway to the first B&B of your choice! Be sure to look out the window during your ride as you'll get scenic views of the picturesque Irish countryside!
Check-in - Ireland Bed and Breakfast
Staying in an Ireland Bed and Breakfast offers travelers the complete flexibility of creating their own itinerary. You must select your accommodations ahead of time. To ensure the best availability, it's recommended that you pre-book your B&Bs as far in advance as possible. Enjoy your choice of accommodations from small towns to quaint villages to countryside manors.
All Irish B&B's pride themselves on providing their guests with a fresh, home-cooked breakfast each morning and quality accommodations that cater to every need. Draw on the local knowledge, personal touch and warm welcome of your Irish hosts. Learn about all the best local restaurants, pubs, shops, attractions and activities. Your hosts specialize in the best services available from golf to walking tours of the area, to adventure breaks and much more.
Why Stay in a B&B?
- Most bed and breakfasts are owned by the B&B operators themselves, who usually live on the premises. It's natural to expect that B&B operators who live in their own B&B's will bring a different perspective to the job.
- At B&B's, "customers" are truly guests, and it shows. The B&B owners will gladly help you find the best restaurant in town, the best pubs, point you to the best tourist attractions and local amenities and much much more. Many B&B's depend on word-of-mouth recommendations.
Combine those two factors and it's easy to see why B&B owners go out of their way to make sure your stay provides some great memories of Ireland.
*B&B check-in is between 3:00pm and 6:00pm..
Day 4. Ireland Bed and Breakfast
Depending on where you've decided to book your B&B, you'll have a selection of activities to choose from for the day! Limerick is about halfway between Galway and Kinsale, so if you've opted to stay there, we recommend a visit to the 13th-century King John's Castle!
Day 5. Ireland Bed and Breakfast - Kinsale
Wave goodbye to your B&B then head toward Kinsale, where you'll check into your new accommodations. Today is a great time to visit Blarney Castle!
Check-in - Kinsale Hotel & Spa
Just a 5-minute drive to the colorful village of Kinsale, this contemporary hotel boasts warm Irish hospitality, stylish decor, and breathtaking views. Nestled in 90 acres of wooded greenery on Oysterhaven Bay, Kinsale Hotel & Spa is a relaxing retreat of peace and tranquility.Â

Blarney Castle
Blarney Castle was built nearly six hundred years ago by one of Ireland's greatest chieftains, Cormac MacCarthy, and has been attracting attention beyond Munster ever since.
Over the last few hundred years, millions have flocked to Blarney, making it a world landmark and one of Ireland's greatest treasures. Now that might have something to do with the Blarney Stone, the legendary Stone of Eloquence, found at the top of the Tower. Kiss it and you'll never again be lost for words.
Day 6. Kinsale
Get to know the beauty of the area today! Take a guided bus tour of the Ring of Kerry during the day and see the legendary scenery.
After that, you could head back to town to join a Kinsale food tour or - for the more adventurous - even a thrilling ghost tour!Â
Ring of Kerry Guided Bus Tour
The Iveragh Peninsula - which contains Ireland’s most spectacular mountain road - the Ring of Kerry - is situated in the southwest corner of Ireland. Over the centuries it has been the inspiration of poets and writers because of its magnificent coastal scenery and rugged countryside.
This motorcoach tour allows travelers to share in the history, geography, culture, stories and folklore of the enchanting Ring of Kerry. This is an ideal opportunity for you to forget about the left-hand side of the road for a day and relax in worry-free comfort.
The Ring of Kerry is usually done in a counter-clockwise direction along the banks of the River Laune to Killorglin, via Glenbeigh, Kells, Caherciveen and the southern shores of Dingle Bay. The tour continues to Waterville and along the coast via Coomakista Pass and Derrynane and on to Sneem. From Sneem you travel up the mountain road to Molls Gap, then via Ladies’ View and back to Killarney. In addition to stopping at all points of interest en route you also stop for an hour at lunchtime. In the afternoon a stop will be made for tea/coffee/Guinness/refreshments.
Day 7. Kinsale
Set off on the Titanic Trail Walking tour today! After, you may decide to check out the Cobh Heritage Center. Spend some time strolling through the colorful town as you pop in and out of the shops, boutiques, and bookstores.
Titanic Trail Walking Tour
This fascinating guided walking tour explores the town of Cobh in Cork Harbor, which was the last port of call of RMS Titanic! Participants are taken by specially trained guides to relive a Titanic timeline journey through the historic town of Cobh. The vista of the town remains the same as it was on the day the Titanic's passengers embarked from the Port of Cork. The tour recounts many interesting facts about the Titanic, the Titanic's history, and its association with Cobh, from when it departed on its last fateful journey nearly 100 years ago.
Cobh Heritage Centre
From 1848 to 1950, over 6 million adults and children emigrated from Ireland. Of that group, over 2.5 million departed from Cobh, making it the single most important port of emigration. This exodus from Ireland was largely as a result of poverty, crop failures, the land system and a lack of opportunity.
Discover the story of Cobh’s unique origins, as well as its history and legacy at Cobh: the Queenstown Story. The stunning multimedia exhibition is located in Cobh’s restored Victorian Railway Station.
Day 8. Kinsale - Wicklow
Depart Kinsale and move on to your final accommodations. Today, explore County Wicklow, called the "Garden of Ireland" for it cliffs, sandy beaches, rolling mountains, hidden lakes, and bogs. Visit Wicklow Mountains National Park, the largest national park in Ireland, and drive its scenic winding roads or take a walk through the breathtaking countryside.
Or, take advantage of your proximity to Kildare Village to use your discount voucher, then hit Dublin to enjoy your admission discount to the Guinness Storehouse!Â
Immerse yourself in elegant charm at the 5-star Heritage Killenard in County Laois. As soon as you walk through the hotel's doors, you'll step into a state of pure peace and tranquility. Check-in with the friendly reception team and admire the hotel's rich, traditional decor as you make your way up to your room. Open your door and find air conditioning, internet access, large comfortable beds, flat-screen TVs, and more.
After a quick nap, unpack your swimsuit and take a dip in the Jacuzzi or indoor pool. Take a whack at a match of tennis, bring out your inner-child in the game room, go fishing, or unwind in the sauna or steam rooms. Enjoy a pre-dinner glass of whiskey at the Slieve Bloom Bar, then indulge in a delicious dinner at any of the resort's three restaurants.
