Day 1. Welcome to Madrid, Spain!
Arrive in Madrid and marvel at the beauty of this magnificent city! Make your way to your luxurious accommodation, settle in, then get exploring.
Treat yourself to some first-night tapas, then head to bustling Plaza Mayor and soak up the city's vibrant culture.

Spend your evening in Madrid relaxing with some churros con chocolate in Puerta del Sol. If time allows, treat yourself to a spectacular flamenco show!
Day 3. Madrid
Continue exploring Madrid! You might want to consider visiting another museum, the Centro de Arte Reina Sofia. It's home to possibly Spain's most famous artwork, Picasso's Guernica.
Tonight, embark on a tapas crawl through La Latina neighborhood. From tortilla to pan con tomate, dig into the local small plates that make Madrid a foodie paradise!
Day 4. Madrid - Lisbon, Portugal
After breakfast, make your way to the airport and enjoy a quick flight to colorful Lisbon! As you land, take a glimpse out the plane window and see the bright blue waters and terracotta rooftops that await you below.
Check-in to your comfortable hotel, then take a walk over to bustling Rossio Square. Feast your eyes on historic monuments, check out some cool shops, and treat yourself to a glass of local wine at a quaint cafe.

Rise and shine, it's your first day in Lisbon. Take tons of photos of Lisbon's most raved-about sights like Jeronimos Monastery, a late Gothic Manueline-style monastery housing archaeology and maritime museums.
A short walk away from the monastery is Belem Tower, an iconic feature of Lisbon's waterfront. This fortified tower played a major role during Portugal's Age of Discovery when famous explorers like Vasco da Gama set forth to the New World.
Day 6. Lisbon
Wake up early, enjoy breakfast, then head to the oldest district of Lisbon, Alfama! Stroll along charming cobblestone streets and weave in and out of traditional stucco buildings. Follow narrow, hilly paths to local markets, shops, restaurants, and historic sites.
From Alfama, consider hopping on the famous Tram 28! Have fun gliding through the city and feel free to get off and explore at any point along the route. Stop at Sao Jorge Castle, then check out the Santa Justa Lift. Take a ride up this 1902 elevator and feel your eyes widen as you take in postcard-worthy views of Lisbon.
Day 7. Depart Portugal
Squeeze all your souvenirs into your luggage, then say goodbye to the spirited city of Lisbon. Make your way to the airport and spend your flight home dreaming about your next adventure.
