Day 1. Welcome to Barcelona, Spain!
Arrive in Barcelona and immediately become immersed in its colorful culture and artistic flavor. Spend your first night strolling along La Rambla, Barcelona's pedestrian heart. Watch authentic street performers dance the night away, browse through unique shops, and grab some tapas at a quaint cafe.Â
You'll be just a 15 minutes' walk from the famous Sagrada Familia at the Leonardo Boutique Hotel in Barcelona. Gaze up at the 38-story skyscraper "Torre Agbar" and shop until you drop at Encants Vells, both within walking distance. Excellent transport connections from Clot Metro Station allow you to reach the city center in only 10 minutes.
The hotel features 69 comfortable rooms with free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and non-allergic floors. Aside from their functionality, each room has been thoughtfully decorated with beautiful photographs donated by students. Day 2. Barcelona
During your time in Barcelona you will be surrounded by the work of the famous architect Antoni GaudÃ. Take a stroll through Park Güell, where buildings covered in brightly colored tiles await. You'll also want to leave a few hours to take in the beauty of the Sagrada Familia, a Christian temple and the most famous and spectacular of Gaudôs works.
Leave some time to explore the Barri Gotic (Gothic Quarter) where the 13th-century Gothic Cathedral is located, then head to the city's magic fountain of Montjuïc for a spectacular water show, filled with music and colors!
Day 3. Barcelona
Spend the day at leisure in Barcelona! Stroll through the Gothic Quarter on your way to the Picasso Museum, which houses one of the most extensive collections of artworks by Pablo Picasso.
In the evening, head to the famous La Boqueria Market on La Rambla for a bite. In this vibrant market you'll find local foods, freshly caught fish, and sweets in the most whimsical of shapes.
Day 4. Barcelona - Rome, Italy
Say goodbye to Spain as you head to the airport for your quick flight to Italy's capital. Upon arrival, head to your accommodation, get settled, then start exploring the city! You may want to start at Piazza Navona, the main plaza in the historic heart of Rome. In the evening, find a trattoria and enjoy your first bite of Italian cuisine, with wine of course!Â

Day 5. Rome

Next door, visit the ancient government buildings at the Roman Forum. You'll then want to head over to the Pantheon, where you can see one of the most influential and well-preserved monuments of its time.
Day 6. Rome
Pay a visit to the sites at Vatican City today! Explore the breathtaking St. Peter's Basilica, the world's largest Christian basilica.
Treat yourself to a visit at the Vatican Museums, where you'll be surrounded by masterpieces of some of the greats, from Da Vinci to Giotto. Don't forget to stop by the show-stopper: the iconic Sistine Chapel ceiling, painted by Michelangelo.
Day 7. Depart Italy
Your Spanish-Italian adventure ends today. At the appropriate time, head to Rome airport for your flight home. Say "adios" and "arrivederci" to an unforgettable vacation!
