Day 1. Welcome to Las Vegas!
Touch down in the exciting city of Las Vegas! Make your way to your hotel and check in hand late this afternoon, should you have any questions.

Arrive at the Grand Canyon by mid-afternoon and marvel at breathtaking views of this postcard-worthy landscape. As the afternoon light turns to gold, keep your camera ready for the sunset of a lifetime. Enjoy overnight accommodations inside the National Park!
Yavapai Lodge West is a family-friendly and pet-friendly hotel set within Grand Canyon National Park. The hotel is a short walk or bus ride to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, and is within walking distance to the local market, bank, and post office. Day 3. Grand Canyon - Kayenta

Explore the scenic desert of Monument Valley, which has appeared in countless classic Western films! Day 5. Grand Junction - Denver
This morning, you'll visit Colorado National Monument up close! Investigate the towering monoliths that stand within a vast plateau and create a spectacular canyon panorama. Then, experience sheer-walled red-rock canyons as you twist and turn along Rim Rock Drive! Keep your eyes out for bighorn sheep and soaring eagles.
You'll then journey east across the Rocky Mountains to the "Mile High City" of Denver, where you will cozy up for an overnight stay.

Day 7. Custer
After breakfast, enjoy a pleasant morning at Custer State Park, where you'll enjoy a scenic drive along Wildlife Loop Road. Stare out the window as you pass spectacular terrain and an abundance of wildlife. It's likely you'll at least see a few bison, as a herd of 1,300 of them roam freely throughout the park!
As morning comes to an end, move on to Mount Rushmore National Memorial, which stands as a shrine to democracy. See the stunning granite faces of four legendary American presidents: Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, and Theodore Roosevelt.
Last but not least, visit the Crazy Horse Memorial, a monument carved out of a mountain to honor the great Native American hero, Chief Crazy Horse.
Day 8. Custer - Cody
Hear Western music playing in your head as you journey through the high country, where open-range cattle kings made war on the homesteaders in the 1890s. Enjoy a stop at Devils Tower National Monument, established as America's first national monument by Teddy Roosevelt in 1906!
Tonight, enjoy a comfortable stay in Buffalo Bill's western town of Cody, Wyoming.

Check-in - National Park at the Grant Village Lodge
Remodeled in 2015, Grant Village Lodge offers guests a comfortable accommodation near the West Thumb of Yellowstone Lake. The village features six two-story buildings, each containing 50 rooms. All rooms come equipped with a coffee maker and refrigerator. WiFi is available for purchase. There is a casual lakeside restaurant onsite as well as a full-service restaurant. There is also a lounge and gift shop onsite. Grant Village Lodge is also close to Grand Teton National Park, making it a great choice to start your national parks vacation.
Day 10. Yellowstone
Grab your camera and wear comfortable shoes! Today, you'll explore all the wonders of Yellowstone National Park, established in 1872 as the world's first national park. See the world-famous Old Faithful Geyser, Mammoth Hot Springs, the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, and Fountain Paint Pots.
Keep a lookout for some of the park's wildlife that can include moose, bison, elk, deer, bighorn sheep, wolves, bear, fox, coyote, and beaver!
Day 11. Yellowstone - Alpine
Head south to the Wild West town of Jackson, with its wooden sidewalks and swing-door saloons. Stroll through the streets of historic downtown and weave in and out of unique shops and museums. You might want to join an 8-mile scenic trip that begins at Pritchard Creek and floats down the Snake River.
Enjoy an overnight in Alpine, located on the sparkling banks of the Snake River!

Take a break from nature and head to the city! Today, travel to Utah's vibrant capital, Salt Lake City, set on the edge of Great Salt Lake Desert. This area is the center of the Mormon religion, and is where Brigham Young declared to his followers, "This is the place."
Enjoy an orientation tour, which offers a glimpse at Temple Square, the Capitol Building, and the downtown area.
