Day 1. Welcome to Germany!
Arrive in Frankfurt, pick up your car, and let the fun begin! You can drop off your bags and spend the rest of the day exploring the city at your leisure, taking in the wonderful metropolitan skyscrapers and finding the hidden corners that still retain its old-world charm.

Day 2. Frankfurt - Rudesheim - Cologne
Today, you'll head out for the city of Cologne. You may take the time to stop in historic Rudesheim on the way, then follow the Rhine River to your final stop, where a beautiful city sprawls out from its iconic cathedral.

Overlooking the Rhine River in central Cologne with a stunning glass roof, the Hotel Maritim offers 4-stars of excellence and even better views. The Kolnmesse Exhibition Center is a little over a mile away, and the area surrounding the hotel is a wonderful place for travelers looking for cuisine, plenty of shopping, and Christmas Markets in the winter.
Day 3. Cologne - Hamburg
Enjoy breakfast in Cologne before striking out for Hamburg, known for its elegant boulevards, famous St. Pauli neighborhood, its port, which is the second largest in Europe, and the rich history encompassing the entire city.
You may want to stop by the Hamburger Kunsthalle, a stunning art museum that lights up the night.

This 4-star family-friendly hotel is located in Hamburg (Hohenfelde), close to Alster-Schwimmhalle, St. Gertrud Kirche, and Criminal Dinner. Also nearby are Hamburg Dungeon and Miniatur Wunderland. Day 4. Hamburg - Berlin

Day 6. Berlin - Potsdam - Erfurt
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before departing Berlin for Potsdam, one of Europe's most amazing royal cities. Stop in at the splendid Sanssouci Palace and Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and head to Erfurt to finish up the day.
Known as "Thuringian Rome" due to its amazing architectural beauty, Erfurt offers medieval charm along its city's streets, which sit at the cross roads of ancient German and European trade routes. Be sure to stop by the Merchants' Bridge, or Kramerbrucke, which hosts the most inhabited structures of any bridge in Europe.

For your final day in Frankfurt, you can explore what you may have missed the first night there, like the lovely aromatic Kleinmarkthalle or the Römerberg, or "Roman Mountain" in the heart of the city.
