Day 1. Welcome to Frankfurt!
Touch down in one of Germany's most charming cities - Frankfurt! Collect your rental car, check-in to your hotel, and enjoy the rest of your first day at leisure.Â
Stroll around the Römerberg, a picturesque square in the heart of Frankfurt's Old Town (Altstadt). During the holiday season, the Römerberg lights up with festive cheer, as the famous Frankfurt Christmas Market takes place. Gawk at the huge Christmas tree in the center of the square, feast your eyes on medieval buildings, and and shop the night away. Sip on a warm drink or treat yourself to some traditional frankfurter würstchen!

Day 2. Frankfurt - Rothenburg
Recharge with a delicious breakfast, then make your way to the fairy-tale town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber! Along your drive, you may want to stop in Würzburgurg, a Bavarian city known for its ornate baroque and rococo architecture. Consider a visit to the Würzburg Residenz - a UNESCO World Heritage Site!
Upon arrival in Rothenburg, you'll feel like you just stepped into a storybook! The tiny streets of this romantic town are lined with medieval shops, colorful storefronts, and homey restaurants. After your check into your hotel, explore on your own! Stroll through the magical Rothenburg Christmas Market and become surrounded in festive sparkle. This picturesque market looks like the set of a Christmas movie!

Day 3. Rothenburg - Nuermberg

When you're ready to wave goodbye to Rothenburg, take a scenic 75-minute drive to Nuermberg! The Nuermberg Christmas market, known as "Christkindlesmarkt" is the most famous of all market in Germany! Dating back to the 16th-century, Christkindlesmarkt has given German people reason to celebrate for hundreds of years. Today, it draws over 2 million visitors a year - from all over the world! Immerse yourself in age-old tradition at this winter wonderland.

Day 4. Nuernberg - Munich
Today, head to the magnificent city of Munich! On your drive from Nuernberg to Munich, you may want to stop off in Regensburg, a Bavarian city on the Danube River, known for its medieval core. Founded by the Romans, this is one of the oldest cities in Germany, and has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site! Explore amazing architecture and allow the city's history to transport you back in time.
Upon arrival in Munich, you'll notice a harmonious blend of old-world charm and modern urbanism. After checking into your hotel, head out and get to know the city! Sightsee through Munich's main attractions, like Marienplatz Square, City Hall, and of course, the famous Christmas Market.

Day 5. Munich - Fussen
Say "see ya" to Munich and continue on your holiday journey! As you travel to Fussen, you may want to stop off in Garmisch-Partenkirchen for some spectacular scenery. Site of the 1936 Winter Olympics, this ski resort near Zugspitze is a prominent destination for skiing, hiking, and ice skating.Â
Arrive in Fussen and take in the beautiful landscapes that surround the city. Depending on the weather conditions, you may be in for an idyllic snowy scene.Â

Day 6. Fussen - Stuttgart
If you're a Disney fan, you may recognize Neuschwanstein Castle as the castle that inspired Disney's castle in Sleeping Beauty! Located near Fussen, this castle is a must-see stop. Nearby, you'll also find a Hohenschwangau Castle, which is also worth a visit.
Continue to Stuttgart, home to the head offices of Mercedes Benz and Porsche! Nestled in a valley surrounded by vineyards, Stuttgart is filled with museums, green spaces, and much more. Be sure to check out Weihnachtsmarkt, Stuttgart's renowned Christmas market that draws more and more visitors every year!Â

The elegant ARCOTEL Camino is set in the heart of one of Europe's greenest cities. In just a few minutes on foot, you reach the main train station, the shopping boulevard "Konigstrabe". The bars and restaurants of "Theodor-Heuss-Strabe" run parallel to it. You'll find palaces and numerous cultural sites, such as the State Theatre nearby as well.
Day 7. Stuttgart - Frankfurt
On your way back up to Frankfurt, consider a stop in Heidelberg! With 16th-century Heidelberg Castle set romantically in the backdrop, Heidelberg Christmas Market is a holiday dream come true. From roasting chestnuts to hand-painted wooden figurines, soak up the German Christmas spirit!Â
In the afternoon, arrive back in Frankfurt for one fantastic final night. Treat yourself to a traditional German dinner at a local restaurant!Â
