Day 1. Welcome to Reykjavik!
Upon arrival, you'll pick up your rental car at the Keflavik Airport. Make your way to Reykjavik and check into your hotel! Spend the rest of the evening at leisure.
Check-in - Fosshotel Reykjavik
Fosshotel Reykjavík is Iceland’s largest hotel in the heart of the city, where you can easily explore Reykjavík's magnificent architecture, captivating history, vibrant markets and rich culture. Fosshotel Reykjavík is located at Höfðatorg, a short walk from Höfði House where the famous Reykjavík summit between Gorbachev and Reagan took place in 1986.

Day 2. Reykjavik - Borgarfjordur area
Whale Fjord – Hot Spring – Magical Waterfalls
After breakfast head to scenic Borgarfjordur via the impressive Hvalfjordur (Whale Fjord) and its intriguing undersea tunnel (tunnel toll is extra). If you don´t want to take the tunnel, you can take the scenic coastal road instead (which adds an additional 10 miles to the trip).
Drive through Borgarnes town, where you can learn about the first Viking settlers in the area at the popular Settlement Museum. Visit Deildartunguhver, Europe´s most powerful hot springs, as well as two beautiful waterfalls, Hraunfossar (the Lava Falls) and Barnafoss (the Children´s Falls). Near Deildartunguhver you can indulge in hot spring relaxation at the Krauma natural geothermal spa.

Day 3. Borgarfjordur area
Borgarafjordur Valley – Langjokull Glacier – Snaefellsjokull National Park
Today you can continue to explore the Borgarfjordur valley region, or you can visit Snaefellsnes Peninsula. Borgarfjordur is a hidden gem defined by stunning volcanic scenery, glacial views and Viking age history. The Snaefellsnes Peninsula is home to a wide variety of Icelandic landscapes, including the Arnarstapi sea cliffs, the rocky beach of Djupalonssandur, and the beautiful Snaefellsjokull glacier/volcano. Drive along the north coast through charming fishing villages, stopping to look at Kirkjufell, the country's most photographed mountain.

Day 4. Borgarfjordur area - The Golden Circle
The Golden Circle: Thingvellir, Gullfoss, Geysir
Today, visit the must-see sites in Iceland! Start with Thingvellir National Park (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), famous for its history and geological wonders, located by Iceland's largest lake, Lake Thingvallavatn. The beautiful canyon running through the park is actually the meeting point of two of the earth’s tectonic plates!
Then move onward to the majestic Gullfoss Waterfall, formed by the waters of a glacial river. Here you’ll see thousands of tons of icy water thunder majestically down in double falls into a deep canyon. Continue to the Geysir hot spring area where bubbling hot springs and geysers are abundant. Here you'll find also Strokkur, the most active geyser in the area, spouting up to 80-100 feet. Overnight in the Hella/Hvolsvollur area.

This snowmobile tour is perfect for first-time riders as well as individuals looking for a scenic, fun ride, to explore and experience.
After a short briefing and dressing up in a snowsuit at the base at Solheimakot Farm, you step into a super-jeep and drive up the mountain to the glacier. Pick up the snowmobiles and ride to the top of Myrdalsjokull glacier.
The tour will provide you with everything you need for a safe and comfortable ride – bring only yourself.
The guides will take you through safety procedures and equip you in special clothing and helmets. The snowmobiles will not be a problem – it is just a matter of squeezing the accelerator or the brake.
Day 6. Southern Iceland
Today, you'll experience a Glacial Wonders Walk on Solheimajokull Glacier!
In addition, you may want to explore the glacial wonders in Vatnajokull National Park, Europe's largest national park. Visit the park's majestic Skaftafell area, which is located between two glaciers and offers many hiking possibilities.Continue to Jokulsarlon Glacial Lagoon, where blue, white, turquoise and black-streaked icebergs shift and dance.

Glacial Wonders Walk on Solheimajokull
Experience a glacier hike in South Iceland!
This is an informative and easy glacier walk on Sólheimajökull glacier. Your certified and experienced glacier guide will lead you through a frozen wonderland of different shades of glacier ice. The spectacular colors of the ice can be white, blue or crystal clear. You will safely view deep crevasses and water cauldrons, along with other interesting features of the glacier. During the glacier hike, you will have plenty of photo opportunities. Additionally, your expert guide will share their wisdom about the ever-changing landscapes of the Icelandic glaciers, their formation and how these icy giants are connected with the surrounding volcanoes and mountains. No technical skills are needed for this tour and you will be provided with all the necessary glacier walk equipment. This is a great, family-friendly way to experience an Icelandic glacier.
The glacier walk does not require any special skills. The tour can be enjoyed by all people in good health, that are able to walk on rugged terrain. Not suitable for children 9 and younger.

Day 7. Southern Iceland - Reykjavik
Drive along the scenic south coast back to the west. On your way, make a stop at Seljalandsfoss, a waterfall that you can actually walk behind!
You´ll also be passing through the landscape of the Eyjafjallajokull Volcano, famous for its 2010 eruption. You may want to visit the new Lava Centre, an interactive exhibit where you can learn about how powerful volcanoes and earthquakes have formed Iceland.
You'll also want to make a stop in Hveragerdi, a hot spring village famous for its geothermal greenhouses where flowers and vegetables are grown year-round. Return to Reykjavik in the late afternoon/early evening.
