Opposite the fort is the black and white dome and minarets of the Jama Masjid, India's largest mosque. Drive past the ruins of Feroz Shah Kotla fort with the Ashokan Pillar dating back to 3rd BC, and end your old city tour with a visit to Raj Ghat where Mahatma Gandhi was laid to rest in 1948.

Here you'll see Qutab Minar, representing the first Islamic monument that marked a shift of power in the country.
