Day 1. Welcome to Ireland!
Arrive in the vibrant capital city of Dublin! You will spend your first night at the North Star Hotel in the heart of the city. There are a few different ways to get from Dublin Airport to the city center. You can take a taxi which will cost you around 20 Euro, call our Vacation Experts and book a private transfer ahead of time at 1.800.896.4600 or take the bus, the Airlink 747, from the airport directly to Connelly Station for 10 Euro.
The history and culture of Dublin makes this city a favorite destination in Europe. Stroll across the Ha’Penny Bridge, visit the Guinness Storehouse, check out the Book of Kells at Trinity College or just wander the cobblestoned streets and feel the warm embrace of Irish hospitality.

A Tip For Your Trip: The bus from the airport to the city center is easy and inexpensive. You can purchase bus tickets on the bus, at vending machines at the bus stop, or online before your trip.

Day 2. Dublin - Limerick
Next, you’ll board the luxurious Irish Rail at Heuston Station in Dublin and head to Limerick. You can take the Red Line LUAS tram from Connelly Station right into Heuston Station (6 stops and it will only take about 10 minutes!). The train ride from Heuston Station to Limerick Train Station will be about two hours.
When you arrive, the Limerick City Hotel is about a 15-minute walk or you can take a short taxi ride for 8-10 Euro. This hotel is in an exceptional location for tourists in Limerick. You can make several different day-trips to all sorts of attractions.Â

This hotel is within walking distance from Limerick Colbert Train & Bus Station and near a host of Irish heritage sites including picturesque towns of Adare, Grange and Louch Gur, You can also explore Clare's Burren district, Cliffs of Moher and Ailwee Caves, all just a short 40-minute drive from the Hotel.
Day 3. Limerick
Nearby you can find King John's Castle, Arthur’s Quay Park and The Treaty Stone. Visit the Bunratty Castle and Folk Park or the Ring of Kerry. The Ring of Kerry is in Killarney, about an hour and a half away. Along this trail you will be able to see the Muckross House, Ross Castle, Lough Leane and the famous Killarney National Park.

Day 4. Limerick - Galway
You will take a coach bus to Ennis (included in your Irish Rail voucher) from Colbert Station followed by a connecting train ride into Ceannt Station in Galway. Your train ride to Galway will take a little over an hour.Â
We recommend scheduling a day-trip over to the iconic Cliffs of Moher for some impressive views of the Galway Bay. Perhaps you'd enjoy the Burren or you can visit the Kylemore Abbey for a bit of history.

Day 6. Galway - Dublin
Board the train at Ceannt Station in Galway and arrive two hours later at Heuston Station in Dublin where you will spend your final moments at the North Star Hotel.
This is a good time to visit any sights you missed the first night or just simply soak in the dynamic atmosphere that Dublin possesses. You will be about 20 minutes from the airport.
