Day 1. Welcome to Kenya!
Touchdown in the capital city of Kenya: Nairobi. You have the day to yourself to wander through the impressive city. Visit the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust which houses orphaned elephants, as well as the Nairobi National Park that is home to lions, giraffes, and a black rhino breeding program. Spend the night in your Nairobi hotel, you'll be on the move in the morning.

Day 2. Nairobi – Samburu National Reserve
Indulge in a hearty breakfast before departing Kenya's capital to Samburu. Upon arriving at the Samburu National Reserve, enjoy a break and lunch before you head out on your first afternoon game drive.
Check-in - Samburu Game Lodge
Surrounded by mountains in the sunbaked landscape of the Samburu Game Reserve sits a haven: the Samburu Game Lodge. Looking out over the Uaso Nyiro River and Ol Olokew Mountain in the background, the Samburu Game Lodge offers stunning views of African nature all around. Riverine forest of Newtonia, Doum Palms, Sycamore Fig trees, and Acacia stretch out in view of the Lodge.
With a multitude of river cottages sprawling along the west riverbank and the choice of single or twin rooms available, the Sunburu Game Lodge becomes a paradise. Mosquito nets, private bathrooms and verandas overlooking the river brings the accommodations from good to great. With a dining room facing the river serving up both local and international cuisine, enjoy meals as well as entertainment in the form of Samburu flute music.
Day 3. Samburu National Reserve
Enjoy your stunning surroundings as you relax for a day in Samburu. Take a dip in the pool, enjoy lush forest surroundings with the chance of animal sightings, and rest comfortably in the lodge.
Day 4. Samburu National Reserve - Aberdare National Park
Rise early, enjoy a breakfast and depart via safari vehicle. Enjoy a pit stop lunch at the Outspan Country Club before being transferred to Aberdare National Park. The rest of the day is yours to spend at your leisure. Explore your new accommodations, observe animals visiting the watering hole, and spend a comfortable night in preparation for the next adventure.
Check-in - Treetops Hotel
Staying at the Treetops Hotel in Aberdare is a quiet experience. With mandatory solt-soled shoes and hushed waiters, all are enjoying the show at the large watering hole. Elephants, rhino, buffalo, lions, hyenas, and more wander through the national park, meandering past the view from your room. This rustic excursion offers excellent animal spotting as well as being a wonderful place to stay overnight while traveling from one destination to another. With turrets, verandahs, ground-level hides, and decks all built with animal spotting in mind, you chance to see magnificent beasts rises exponentially. You can even see out over the watering hole from your room as you watch the wild animals from the comfort of modern conveniences.
Day 5. Aberdare National Park - Lake Naivasha
Rise bright and early, pack up, and go for a return trip to the Outspan Hotel for breakfast, then an excursion to Lake Nakuru in the Great Rift Valley. Enjoy the alkaline lake, an excellent place for bird spotting and picnicking, and usually lined with flocks of flamingos.
After lunch at the lake enjoy another game drive to Lake Naivasha Country Club, where you'll spend the night.

Surrounded by the wildlife of Aberdare National Park, resting on the banks of Lake Naivasha, is the Lake Naivasha County Club. An elegant haven in the middle of Nairobi, the Country Club boasts a pool, spa, tiled floors and wooden furniture. Some rooms offer balcony views but all have private bathrooms and internet access.
The restaurant offers its own produce of fruit and vegetables, in both buffet options and as meals. A full free breakfast is served every morning, alongside bar and barbecue options.
In between your safari adventures, the Country Club also offers bird walks, visits to the Crescent Island Private Sanctuary, and a shuttle service that can be arranged upon request.
Day 6. Lake Naivasha - Masai Mara National Reserve
Rise and depart from Lake Naivasha Country Club towards the Masai Mara National Reserve. Drop off your bags, enjoy lunch, and spend the rest of the afternoon on a game drive on the reserve that is globally famous for its concentration of Masai lions, African leopards and Tanzanian cheetahs.
Check-in - Keekorok Lodge
Enjoy a lush stay in the heart of the Masai Mara National Reserve. The Keekorok Lodge offers beautiful lodgings, as well as sprawling grounds, activities in between safari drives, a buffet and restaurant dining, bars and lounges, and the largest gift store in the park.
As the oldest game lodge in Masai Mara, the Keekorok holds seniority while offering the best of modern conveniences as the newer lodges, all with an air of the culture of the Masai Mara people.
Day 7. Masai Mara National Reserve
Spend the day and night in the Masai Mara National Reserve. Enjoy the stunning surroundings of the national park on your last full day, and keep an eye out for animal sightings!
Day 8. Depart Kenya!
Enjoy a breakfast before your departure to Nairobi, which will be a 4 hour safari ride that allows you to arrive around lunch time. After lunch, your safari vehicle will take you all the way to the airport where you will begin your trip home, laden with new photos, memories, and hopefully a few souvenirs.
