The accommodations and excursions were wonderful

I have now booked two trips for my spouse and myself through GVV with very good results. You are only booking flights/trains and hotels through them. You arrange any activities on your own through companies like aviator. The flights are economy and the hotels are typically 3 star hotels

Wife and I just came back from five nights near Milan, Italy and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Staying along Lake Maggiore and making it so simple to get into Milan to see some of the sites made this the best trip in a long time. Definitely will use this agency for more trips in the future. Easy to book and thorough explanation of everything that we expected took away. Any worries we had.

The trip covered so much of Alaska's interior via bus, rail, two cruises to glaciers, river boat and hiking. So much history here that most Americans don't know about. The hotel stays and food exceeded our expectations. Our tour guide was born and raised in Alaska. His knowledge, experience and stories provided a vivid picture of life in the state. If you want luxury, take a cruise. But if you want to see Alaska you must take a ground tour.

GVV planned the route for our trip and it was perfect! The seven night ring road itinerary provided plenty of times to see all the beautiful sights and still reach our nightly destination with ease. We were please with the cleanliness and accommodations provided at hotel. We did not request an upgrade for our rental car but the car provided was still well suited for our travel! This was our second trip using Great Value Vacations and we look forward to using their services in the future!

Great communication throughout the planning process. We were prepared with all documents and vouchers required for our travel and our excursions and activities. Our drivers were all wonderful, informative, and fun, especially Andrew for our Black Cab tour in London, and Dale on the Magical Mystery Tour in Liverpool. The staff at both hotels were friendly and helpful. We especially enjoyed the Hard Days Night hotel. We would recommend this vacation to any Beatles fan.

Everything was as stated in the description, however I wish we had more time, especially with the train transfers to the next city. Staff at GVV were helpful except one. Price was great. The 2 city tours had great guides. 1. Venice was great, but rushed and lots of walking. 2. Florence was even better. Unfortunately, our train was pushed back due to potential strike and we lost money for one of our pre booked tours. Definitely recommend doing a pasta making class, not as expensive, a lot of fun and met several new friends. Also you don’t have to pay for another dinner because we ate the pasta. 4. Rome, beautiful but way too much to see with only a day and a half. 5. Overall great vacation, but make sure you LOVE to walk and climb stairs because you will do a LOT of it. Get to know the train system, buses and metro to be prepared to get around. (None of the cities had ramps/elevators for public use. Definitely not disability friendly). 6. Hotels were ok but not always in best areas. They were clean and had friendly and helpful staff. All in all we only slept there, so ok. 7. AMERICA AIRLINES was a disaster!!!!. Even though I have their credit card, the rules changed so THAT LUGGAGE is NO LONGER INCLUDED FOR INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL. Thus costs increased to over $140 each way for my and my daughter’s suitcase. The flight was full, no extra seats. Also the seats were so tight making it very difficult to get out. My knees kept bumping the seats in front and I am only 5’ 4”, unfortunately my daughter is six feet and, we were in the 2 middle seats for a 10 hour flight. We had way more space on the connecting flight which was only one hour. Go figure. After travelling to Europe several times, I will never go on American Airlines again. The thing that is weird is food/snacks because you were served their “dinner” one hour after leaving the airport and nothing until one hour before landing when the attendants were scrambling to pick everything up. 6. Wish we had more time so we could see everything and not have to walk from 8 am to 8 pm. You don’t really have 2 days in each city to sightsee(but 1 1/2 d/t train transfers). But a great vacation to get a brief look at these wonderful cities, just wished we had more time.

This is our first time to travel using GVV. I tried other agencies but Great Value is just topnotch! The website is easy to navigate and booking was a breeze. Have many options to choose re: dates of travel, hotel amenities, bus transfers and local tours. Everything is taken of. As another point out, just show at the airport. Best vacation experience by far. Thanks GVV for the memorable week in Iceland!

Everything was great! Resort was wonderful. The value of the trip was amazing. We were also able to change an 11:00 pm flight back to an 8:00 pm flight, which was much better for us. The representative who helped us was very professional.

The chosen hotel was above my expectations, location, room size and all around amenities offered. We were VERY pleased with the Hyatt Regency Waikiki Resort. The booking process through GV was simple and easy. Vouchers came in a timely manner with easy to follow directions. I would definitely recommend GV vacations to others.

This was our first time booking with Great Value Vacations and we had an absolutely wonderful experience! Everything was thoughtfully planned and organized, and the entire trip went so smoothly. The hotels they arranged were fantastic, and we couldn’t have been happier with how everything came together. We added on several of the optional excursions and they were all fantastic. What really stood out was their customer service. When our flight was unexpectedly diverted and we had to spend a night in New York, they were incredibly quick to respond and went above and beyond to help us get everything sorted out with the rental car company and hotel for that night. Knowing we had someone we could reach when unexpected problems came up gave us tremendous peace of mind while traveling. We highly recommend this company to anyone planning a trip to Ireland. They made the entire experience easy, enjoyable, and truly memorable!

We have taken seven amazing vacations with Great Value Vacations and had a small hiccup with last Sicily Italy vacation. Just booked our next trip to Thailand. They do all the work so you don’t have to. We just look for all the extra excursions we want to do. Give them a try and see all the adventures you can take. Do your research and if there is a rental car involved make sure the driver is listed as the 1st person traveling.

Everything went smoothly.

We recently completed the Copenhagen, Oslo, and Stockholm package. We could not have been happier with the experience. Initially, we could not believe the price of the package considering that it included several flights and accommodations in cities that are not known for being inexpensive. We did spend a little extra for the more Central hotels but the difference was nominal and the improvement in location was well worth it. We didn't experience a single issue with bookings with the airline or hotels. I have used Great Value on numerous occasions and have typically had very good experiences. I would not hesitate to book through them again. The only gripe we had is that all three hotels were listed by GVV as having air conditioning but actually only one had it.

Took the stress out of traveling. Very easy to use the app. Easy to contact the company if you have questions would definitely recommend it.

The price of this package was well worth the money as it included all our flights and hotel. The location of the hotels were appreciated as they were a couple blocks from the central train stations as well as other highlights of the cities. The communication from Great Value was excellent. Updates and documents were received well ahead of time, accessible, and written in an easy format.

The hotels they chose were excellent, the transfer to and from airport or seamless we truly did not have to think about anything except just showing up on time
