Day 1. Welcome to Lisbon!
Arrive at the airport, pick up your rental car, and make your way to Lisbon to start your Portugal adventure!
The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at leisure; why not ascend to São Jorge Castle, where you can explore the Moorish buildings and grounds, before being treated to some of the most sweeping views of the city below.

Day 2. Lisbon
Start the day off with your private sightseeing tour! After the tour, take a deeper dive into the destinations that call out to you; get lost in the maze of cobbled streets in the Alfama, or linger for a bit longer in Belem and trace the path of Portugal's history.
In the evening, experience the vibrant nightlife of Lisbon's bustling Bairro Alto district! Walk through the cobblestone streets and pop into one of the many shops, bars, or restaurants - the city is at your fingertips!
Lisbon City Tour (Morning)
Discover the magnificent city of Lisbon on this guided tour that unveils its history and traditions. Begin by visiting the Belém quarter, where you will find the most beautiful and historical monuments from the 15th and 16th centuries. Make a brief stop at the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Belém Tower (Torre de Belém).
You then visit the church of S. Jerome Monastery (Mosteiro dos Jerónimos) – another UNESCO World Heritage Site, and a masterpiece of the “Manueline” style, followed by and the National Coach Museum (Museu Nacional dos Coches), with one of the most important collections of old carriages in the world. Along the river, we arrive at Alfama, an old and traditional district, where we will have the opportunity to walk in its narrow streets and visit a handicraft shop where we'll taste an aperitif of Port wine.
Pass by the downtown (Baixa) to admire Lisbon’s most important squares - such as the monumental Trade Square (Praça do Comércio); Rossio Square, the heart of Lisbon, and the symbolic Restauradores Square. From there, drive along Liberdade Avenue, the “boulevard” of Lisbon, to finish at Marquês de Pombal Square, admiring the statue of the 18th-century Portuguese statesman responsible for Lisbon reconstruction after one of the deadliest earthquakes in history, the 1755 Lisbon Earthquake.

Day 3. Lisbon
Hop in your car and take a day trip to the breathtaking resort town of Sintra, about a 30-minute drive from Lisbon. Get lost in the beauty of the hilltop Pena Palace, enjoy sweeping views at the Castle of the Moors, then discover the city's Moorish history at the Palace of Sintra.

Day 4. Lisbon - Algarve
After breakfast, begin your journey to the Algarve region. Wind down at your next accommodation, and begin your adventure in the Algarves.
Tonight, head to the nearby city of Faro for dinner. Stroll through the cobbled streets of old town, where remnants of its Moorish past blend with eighteenth-century Portuguese architecture.

Today you may want to spend the day exploring one of the Algarve's most popular towns, Lagos, where remnants of rebellion and Moorish rule remain.
After a morning basking in the sun, grab a bite at the Lagos fish market, where a wonderland of freshly caught variety awaits - from king prawn to shark.

Day 7. Depart Portugal
Time willing, perhaps one last stroll along the Portuguese coast is in order! In accordance with your departure flight, make your way to the airport today for your flight home. Be sure to leave enough time to drop your rental car at the airport.
