Day 1. Welcome to Oslo!
Upon arrival in Oslo, make your way to your hotel. Once you settle in, spend the day at your leisure to discover this Norwegian capital.
Check-in - Comfort Børsparken Hotel
A stay at the Comfort Hotel Børsparken places you in the center of the city of Oslo and only two minutes from the Oslo train station. Close to all of the city's best attractions, you'll never be far from excellent restaurants, great shopping, or any of the city's varied points of interest. The hotel boasts more than just an enviable location, it also has the first Crossfit hotel gym in the Nordics! Take advantage of the impressive gym, then enjoy a beer in the lobby lounge or take in the unbeatable city views from the 8th-floor balcony.Â
Day 2. Oslo
After breakfast, enjoy a full day exploring the compact city center on foot to see highlights such as the National Theatre, the National Museum of Art, and the Norwegian Opera. Don't miss Mathallen Food Hall for some tasty treats!
For a dose of culture and history, head to the Viking Ship Museum or Norwegian Museum of Cultural History. If the weather is suitable, you might want to head to Vigeland Sculpture Park, a sculpture park and museum displaying the works of Gustav Vigeland.Â
In the evening, stroll the harborfront Aker Brygge district which is home to some of Oslo's best shopping and restaurants.Â
Day 3. Oslo - Sognefjord
In the morning, you will depart on a train to Flam with a stop at the mountaintop Myrdal railway station. Here you will board the famous Flåmsbana - one of the steepest train lines in the world. The train journey runs through beautiful nature, past the Rallar road, steep mountains, breathtaking waterfalls and through 20 tunnels.
Upon arrival in Flam, you will enjoy some free time to discover this scenic village. Your journey continues by a cruise on the Sognefjord, Norway's longest and deepest fjord. The initial part of the fjord, Aurlandsfjord, is a 10-mile arm of Sognefjord, considered to be one of the most picturesque fjords in the world!

Located in Balestrand Norway, this cozy hotel provides guests with a restful, comfortable stay. Midtnes Hotel boasts wonderful views of the Sogne Fjord, the largest and deepest fjord in Norway. The hotel features free Wi-Fi, parking, and a private pier for boats and swimming. The in-house restaurant serves Norwegian and international cuisine, and during the summer seasons guests can enjoy their meals al fresco on the terrace that offers another stupendous view of the fjord. Day 4. Sognefjord
Today you will head out on a round-trip excursion to Fjaerland, the glacier village next to Sognefjorden and Jostedalsbreen Glacier.
Half-day excursion to Fjaerland Glacier
Take a tour of Fjærland including Bøyabreen, Supphellebreen, and a visit to the Norwegian Glacier Museum. Sail through the beautiful Fjærland fjord to being your excursion. After, you'll be shuttled to the Norwegian Glacier Museum. Enjoy Ivo Caprino's panoramic film about Jostedalen Glacier and the fascinating exhibition before continuing by coach to the glaciers Supphellebreen and Bøyabreen.Â
Day 5. Sognefjord - Bergen
Enjoy the morning at your leisure in Sognefjord. Later this afternoon, you will embark on the fast boat destined for Bergen. This evening you’ll arrive in picturesque Bergen, often called the most characteristic of all Scandinavian cities.
Known as the Gateway to the Fjords of Norway, Bergen is a UNESCO World Heritage City, a UNESCO City of Gastronomy, and a European City of Culture - with an ideal combination of nature, culture and exciting urban life all year around.Cruise to Bergen
Check-in - Augustin Hotel
The Augustin Hotel is the oldest family-run hotel in Bergen and is conveniently-located near the harbor, Bergen's shopping area, and Strandkaien Terminal. There is also a city bike station close by, as well as the Fløibanen funicular.
The on-site Altona Wine Bar & Kitchen features over 1,000 quality wine labels located in a 400-year-old stone cellar and serves delicious Norwegian dishes made from the freshest ingredients. Guests have the opportunity to dine in the backyard that features patio heaters and blankets or inside the cozy restaurant. Breakfast is served daily, coffee and newspapers can be found in the lobby, and guests also have access to a gym.Â

Aside from being so close to the city's shopping center, the hotel is also near many other great places to visit in Bergen. The Bergen Maritime Museum, Bergen Art Museum, Møhlenpris Badeplass Beach, West Norway Museum of Decorative Art, and Bryggen Wharf (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) are all within an 8-minute drive from the hotel. Bergen Airport, Flesland is about 8 miles away.
Day 6. Bergen
You have a full free day to explore Bergen - and you won't want to miss the picturesque Bryggen, a Hanseatic wharf and UNESCO World Heritage Site popular with both tourists and locals. A remnant of the days when Bergen was a key trade center between Norway and Europe, it now houses a museum, shops, galleries and restaurants.
Also nearby is Bergen's lively Fish Market, which has been in business since 1276, and is now one of the country's most visited outdoor markets - also featuring handicrafts, souvenirs and other fresh food offerings.
You can also head to the Fløibanen Funicular, which will take you on the top of the Mountain Fløyen for spectacular views of the city.ÂDay 7. Depart Norway
Have breakfast at the hotel and the day at your leisure until your scheduled departure. At the appropriate time, make your way back to the airport and say goodbye to Norway!
