Day 3. Munich – Neuschwanstein and Linderhof Castles - Munich
Visit the solitude of two magnificent castles built in the mountains by the "Mad King" Ludwig II. Neuschwanstein and Linderhof remain as testaments to the amazing architecture of the time, and Linderhof was actually the king's home for many years.Â

Royal Castles of Neuschwanstein & Linderhof Tour
Hidden in the secluded Bavarian mountains, King Ludwig II built two of his dream castles: Neuschwanstein and Linderhof. This excursion shows you these two extraordinary places that live up to the vision of Bavaria’s Fairy Tale King.
Make a short stop in Oberammergau, then continue to the hilltop Neuschwanstein Castle that inspired Disney’s Sleeping Beauty castle! Spend approximately 4 hours exploring Neuschwanstein before traveling through scenic countryside to Linderhof, Ludwig’s rococo-style hunting lodge and last home with its fantastic grotto and Moorish pavilion.Â
