Day 2. Reykjavik
Experience a day tour to remember, packed with action and nature's discoveries! Discover three of the most outstanding attractions in the South of Iceland on a fully guided 4x4 super jeep excursion, then ride a snowmobile on the country's second largest glacier. The first stop is Thingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which is one of Iceland's most significant historical sites, because it was there that Iceland's first parliament was founded in the year 930 AD.
From Thingvellir we head along mountain tracks toward the world-renowned geothermal area around Geysir hot spring, the one spouting hot spring on Earth after which all other spouting hot springs are named. From there we continue on to Gullfoss (the Golden waterfall) where your proximity to its edge is so close you can feel the spray of the glacial water on your face. Next we kick the action into higher gear to get even closer to Iceland's nature and go for a one-hour snowmobiling tour on Langjokull, Iceland's second largest glacier.
A Tip For Your Trip: Two people share each snowmobile. Drivers need to present a valid driver's license in order to drive a snowmobile (minimum age 17 years old). Snowmobiling is dependent on snow layers. We reserve the right to alter the itinerary according to weather and road conditions. Choices of roads and availability of activities are condition dependent. Bring with you: Warm clothes, good shoes and refreshments.

With an extensive network of well-maintained footpaths winding through the city's numerous parks and nature reserves, you won't have to travel far to take a quick break from city life and explore nature.
This evening, you'll join a coach tour out of the city's bright lights, to hunt for the natural wonder of the Northern Lights, also known as Aurora Borealis. These are often seen dancing around in fantastic colors across the Arctic sky.
