Day 1. Welcome to Rome!
Your Italy and Greece vacation begins! Arrive at Rome International Airport then hop in a taxi to your hotel in the city center. Once you settle in, take a walk to Basilica Santa Maria Ausiliatrice just a few minutes' walk from your hotel. Continue exploring Rome by foot as you drink in this magical place!

Day 3. Rome
Continue exploring Rome's highlights today on a self-guided walking tour! Start at the famous Trevi Fountain and toss a coin in to ensure your return to the Eternal City. Then head to the Pantheon, which is the best preserved Ancient Roman monument. Walk under its iconic stone columns and take a few minutes to admire the elaborate interior now used as a Roman Catholic church.
From the Pantheon, walk to Piazza Navona, Rome's elegant central square. Admire Bernini's showy Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi, the church of Sant'Agnese and the Pamphili palace. End your walking tour at the Spanish Steps and take a seat on a marble step for some great people watching.
In the evening, cross the Tiber River to Trastevere. This Roman neighborhood begs visitors to get lost in its winding narrow streets and enjoy a languid meal at an outdoor restaurant.

Day 4. Rome - Athens
Say "arrivederci" to Rome as you travel back to Rome International Airport for your flight to Athens. Upon arriving in Greece, head to your hotel in downtown Athens. Settle in then begin exploring this city of fascinating capital!
