Set deep within San Antonio's most profound cultural district, the Hilton Palacio Del Rio is a 4-star hotel designed for guests who want simplicity with a touch of elegance. One of the best attributes of this hotel is its proximity to the legendary San Antonio River Walk, where dozens of restaurants, bars, cafes, and shops are lined up. Boat tours will also take you across the river while a guide explains to you the significance of the area and its history. Other nearby attractions include the Tower of America's and the Alamo (one of Texas most significant historic landmarks). The hotel is also less than a 20-minute drive from San Antonio International Airport.

Day 2. San Antonio
Continuing strong, you’ll want to visit the Alamo next – site of the 1836 Battle of the Alamo, where a group of determined Texans fought for independence from Mexico. Once you’re there, you’ll see different aspects of the former Spanish mission and fortress. Included are the barracks, the church, the encampment, refurbished cannons, and so much more. The Alamo also hosts a number of different tours, from audio to guided, and even some free tours. End the evening with a fun visit to the nearby Ripley's Believe It or Not! museum.
Day 3. San Antonio
San Antonio wouldn’t be the same without its deep roots in Spanish and Mexican culture. One great way to honor that, as well as do something fun and exciting, is to visit Market Square. You can skip eating breakfast at your hotel as you’ll find handfuls of food carts and restaurants located around the square. Grab a breakfast burrito and an horchata to fuel your appetite before exploring the shops around the square. Over 100 shops are available in the square (it's actually the biggest Mexican market in all of the U.S), so bring plenty of cash!
Later, consider visiting La Villita Historic Village for cool art galleries, shops, and restaurants.
Day 4. Depart San Antonio
Grab all your belongings and head to the airport. Say one last goodbye to San Antonio before you head home!
