Day 2. San Diego, California
Enjoy a day at the world-famous San Diego Zoo! Come face-to-face with fascinating animals and get a feel for their natural habitats.
Spanning 100 acres, the San Diego Zoo is home to over 12,000 rare and endangered animals representing more than 650 species and subspecies. Located in Balboa Park, just north of downtown San Diego, the Zoo is also an accredited botanical garden, caring for more than 700,000 plants, including nearly 13,000 specimens from 3,100 species.
Visitors can enjoy immersive educational experiences while supporting the San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance’s global conservation efforts. For a great introduction, take the 35-minute Guided Bus Tour to get an overview of the Zoo’s diverse exhibits. A minimum visit of three to four hours is recommended.
Day 3. San Diego, California
Today's a great beach day! Enjoy sun and surf at picturesque La Jolla Cove. Rich in marine life and surrounded by impressive cliffs, La Jolla is a sight that shouldn't be missed!
