Beside Edinburgh Castle at the summit of the historic Royal Mile, the award-winning 5-star Scotch Whisky Experience is one of Scotland’s most prestigious visitor attractions, and part of Edinburgh’s UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The Centre is built around the Whisky Tour; devoted to telling the story of Scotland’s most famous product: Scotch Whisky. This contemporary experience feature a state-of-the-art barrel car ride taking visitors through the whisky production process. One of the knowledgeable and enthusiastic guides will then lead visitors through an interactive sensory experience, unlocking the secrets of Scotland’s regions and their influence on the whisky produced.
A perfect introduction into the work of whisky. The Silver Tour at the Scotch Whisky experience includes a guided tour and a tasting of Scotch whisky (soft drink under 18).
