Day 1. Welcome to Tanzania!
Stay a night at the base of a dormant volcano in Arusha, Tanzania. You'll have the day to wander through the city, enjoy the view of Mt. Kilimanjaro, and maybe even hike Mt. Meru. You can also visit nearby museums to get a feel for the local culture.

Check-in - African Tulip Hotel
An elegant flower sprouting in Tanzania, The African Tulip is elegant and charming. Right along the Serengeti Road in the center of Arusha, guests can expect a friendly welcome and comfortable stay. Day 2. Arusha - Tarangire National Park
Enjoy a breakfast provided by your hotel and hop aboard your transport to the Tarangire National Park. Check in at the lovely Tarangire Sopa Lodge, enjoy a provided lunch, then explore your first safari game drive in the afternoon. Maybe you'll pick out animals on the horizon, maybe you'll get lucky with a close encounter!

Look carefully among the ancient baobab, grasses, and kopjes of Tarangire National Park to find the luxurious Tarangire Sopa Lodge that has been designed to blend in with its vast surroundings. Home to the greatest concentration of elephants in Africa, keep an eye out for amazing sightings.
Positioned in an excellent part of the park, the Tarangire Sopa Lodge boasts large open rooms, typical safari decour, long archways and a makuti-style thatched roof over dining and reception that adds to the excitement of staying in the park. With poolside dining, a rooftop barbeque area, and indoor dining as well, there are plenty of options on how to spend your time at the Lodge. All rooms are equipped with the basics as well as air conditioning and a balcony.
Day 3. Tarangire National Park - Central Serengeti
After breakfast, pack up and enjoy the ride to your next destination: the Serengeti Sopa Lodge. Relax and enjoy lunch at the lodge before embarking on a Serengeti safari. During migration season, you could witness the great wildebeest migration, and as summer changes to fall you have a very good chance to see big predators on your excursion.

Enjoy a stay where lions have been released into the wild: Serengeti Sopa Lodge. Sitting comfortably in the Central sector of the Serengeti, this quiet location offers excellent wildlife viewing year round, and is notable for its spectacular predator sightings, especially between July and October.
With the migration passing through twice a year and hot air balloon safari available, the Serengeti Sopa Lodge is an excellent place to stay while on your adventure. Enjoy the view as you take a dip in the refreshing pool and indulge in the delicious restaurant cuisine available.
Day 4. Central Serengeti
You've got a full day to yourself in the middle of the Serengeti before you're whisked away on another safari. You could hike through Moru Kopjes in the hopes of spotting a rare black rhino, or stop by Gong Rock and learn about the indigenous Masai community.
Day 5. Central Serengeti - Ngorongoro Crater
Rise early and embark on morning safari to the Ngorongoro Region where the foliage is lush and visitors are common. Enjoy a refreshing picnic lunch and continue on to the Ngorongoro Crater by way of the famous Olduvai Gorge, considered to be the most important paleoanthropological site in the world. Spend two nights in the lovely Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge enjoying safari excursions, relaxing poolside, and absorbing Tanzanian culture.

Day 6. Ngorongoro Crater

Keep an eye out on your safari for lions, as the Ngorongoro crater has one of the densest concentration of them, and enjoy sights that are unique to such an unusual natural formation.
Day 7. Depart Tanzania
Take your last trip back from Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha after enjoying an early breakfast. Make the most of the views on the way, and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant once you've arrived. Then, you'll be transported back to Kilimanjaro International Airport and be on your way home.
